I mean, I know why. It's because the right are pathetically obsessed. But, you know, you could find the two or three threads that already exist to cover the subject of trans athletes rather than trying to derail a thread which is focusing on what is currently a hugely successful football tournament where England's women footballers are playing better than England's men footballers have probably ever played in a tournament with the possible exception of some of Euro 96.

Meanwhile  English bookies always give shorter odds on England than other teams, so it's not quite a fair comparison (English punters, unsurprisingly, bet on England more so the bookies have to protect themselves a bit, and also have an opportunity for unfair odds). So - basically - England, France and Germany are joint favourites with the quarter finals starting tomorrow. |
