I'm a Royalist because I like that our Head Of State is hereditary and separate from Politics. Whereas a President has to be Head of State and down and dirty with politics. Also I'm pretty damn sure that a Presidency cost the same as a Monarchy. I'm not particularly interested in the Royal Family - I think King Charles is a reasonable bloke. And I like the history.
I like that the Ceremony of the Keys has taken place every single night for over six hundred years when locking up the Tower of London.
The fact that Charles is now my king does not affect me at all. So I wish him well.

"British Conservative politician and Leader of the House of Commons, Penny Mordaunt, dazzled viewers as she performed her ceremonial role. As part of her additional position as lord president of the privy council, a team of advisors to the monarch, Mordaunt was required to carry an 8 lbs. 17th-Century Sword of State into Westminster Abbey during the King’s Procession."

Same here. I've been out all afternoon and aside from the local church having some flags up, there's been nothing really.
My family and friends here in the UK are not Royalists. Well, my sister might be, but too embarrassed to admit it.
Oddly though, some of my friends in Australia and Africa are glued to it. Why they give a stuff is beyond me.

Our singer sang God Save the King at the end. Everyone stood up and sang along. The BBC were incensed.

Apparently the Queen flew one of the bombers but the EU made us hush it up.

I trust you played the Sex Pistol's 'God Save The King - a er...fascist regime' TBF, it doesn’t really rhyme with Queen, either.
