It’s funny about everything being opened. I was chatting with a mate in Norway (who is a die hard royalist) and she was very surprised when I told her I was popping out to do errands post Coronation. She expected the whole country would have been shut down.
I said I don’t know what small towns are like but at least in big cities it just appears to be a regular Saturday.

Village high street closed today for a community event. All very jolly with shops open, stalls selling food, bric-a-brac, vintage cars etc.
Very Sussex: one young woman was heard to day that it was "just like a broccante", which made me smile.

Played a Coro gig this arvo. Really nice pub, beautiful afternoon, all very British. They had a meat raffle and I won two massive pork steaks.
