I'll have you know, now I'm working in the community I'm no longer directly involved, had to franchise it out.
MAID is an amazing program though, no longer do patients have to suffer needlessly just cos someone else thinks they should.

This was 2021. I imagine you have had to reduce your pillow purchases since then.

That's the thing about hospital pillows, they are built to last, so one pillow goes a very long way.

Oh, and yeah, of course MAID is eminently sensible and it's ridiculous that it's not widely available in well developed countries with good governance.
I can see that it could potentially be problematic in places where governments might abuse it like Russia or China or the UK, but those places have no problem finding other ways to kill citizens they dislike.

That's not how MAID works, in fact it's not how anything works
The worst thing about hospital pillows is they have to waterproof, so are plastic coated and make you sweat when lying on one

On the other hand, they are also airtight. Swings and roundabouts, eh?

They have limited space. I don’t particularly see the issue with this. “ Among the classics removed from Erindale Secondary School in Peel District School Board include the Harry Potter series, The Diary of A Young Girl by Anne Frank, A Hungry Caterpillar, and The Hunger Games in a bid to make the library more inclusive.”

Tbf "limited space" sounds like a BS excuse if you find 50% of books are removed, when this was reported here, in the actual media, the school board (and its just the one in the entire country) admitted they didn't have the same number to replace what was taken out.
That being said, the US right, who've banned books across their (much larger in terms of schools and population) country and have regular book burnings, in some places, pointing the finger is just yet another example they have no shame and hypocrisy is a way of life for them.

Yeah, it's weird because the US right have removed (or tried to remove) both Anne Frank and Harry Potter from their school lending libraries. The latter for satanic witchy wizardy unchristian outlooks. The former I'm not sure I know the reasoning. So it's odd that they're piling in to defend JK Rowling now.
