Funny how the actual fascists are the one always moaning the ones they can't beat electoral are the fascists.
Like the far right in the US, cos they can never win an election they want to take their ball home and have their own little kingdom. Alberta is the Alabama of Canada and a few extremists wanting out is hardly gonna break the Country. Same as Texas always talks secession when the dems win, but never leave, we have the same kinds of loons here, just far far fewer.

The conservatives here have the same problem the GOP is facing in the US, a leader who has gone all in on far right culture war loonacy making them strong is only a very small part of the country and unelectable everywhere else. Not seeing elections are won in the center with policies that gave wide appeal, Trudeau is firmly in the center, and while he's a wishy washy slightly right of center liberal, he remains popular for now. PP is just an extremist and the Tories are looking at an outcome similar to the 80s when they lost all but one seat.
Sadly the NDP is just not popular enough to unseat the liberals, but would be my preferred choice.

It’s a tad thoughtless. But it’s really evidence of a massive outrage overreach from both sides, isn’t it. First that anyone needed to remove it rather than just observe that it was a bit thoughtless. Secondly that someone was outraged enough to write a massive news article on its removal. The second seems like the more extreme outrage - publishing something in the national press about a couple of Mumsnet style comments and something a single primary school did.
I really shouldn’t even bother writing this reply, except that I want to remind Rick that being massively outraged about every tiny thing can’t be healthy.
