And deservedly so, not a single shot on target, no real ambition.
Southgate will be out of a job by morning.

Sunakia have applied themselves and been deserving winners. It's all about opportunity. Come on, you blues!

Looks like we are about to be kicked out by Slovakia. Maybe not.

As the suffocated granny might have said if it wasn't for the pillow over her face.

Phew!
On a chat with my cousin and I said “maybe it is coming home”.
She responded “there is more chance of Shamima Begum coming home”. B.itch

I was on an 11 hour flight that had been held on the ground for an extra hour, after a 5 hour layover, trapped in economy class without a book. I'm still not sure that I'd have preferred to have watched the match. Georgia-Spain sounded like it would have been fun, though.

Watching Portugal huff and puff against Slovenia, the quality of the football all round at this tournament has been low, the Spanish game being the exception in the last few days.

Hahaha! WTF.
Meanwhile, in actual sport, Cav's sprint yesterday was amazing. Particularly for a 39 year old.

Have to say it's a bit of a shame the two best teams at the Euros are playing each other in the quarter final rather than the final. Though I expect who ever wins will lift the trophy next weekend

So what do we think?
Do we dare to dream of an England / Spain final?
I haven’t followed the Dutch (although I have seen their fans) - have they been playing well during the competition ?

Can't say I now know enough about it to give a sensible answer. The Dutch are said to be pretty good though. The odd thing, to my mind, is how a team filled with such top flight talent can't do better.
Either way, I shall be eating fish 'n' chips with my family. Also, drinking beer.

Neither the Dutch nor the English have shown themselves to be particularly good. I expect a fairly dull match and would think there's probably a 60:40 chance of England winning.

Meanwhile, cracking debut bowling from Gus Atkinson in the test, although it's worth noting that the WI batting is sh*t.
And this is a great fun stage in Le Tour.
