The cops have got away with it, I mean you keep banging on about them, what more do you want, them to get medals and a ticker tape parade, cos you certainly don't want them to face any consequences for violently attacking a member of the public, so what is it you're unhappy about exactly? All made up. AMU.

He said he would get tough. I hope that they accompany these with ensuring there are multiple routes for genuine refugees to access asylum in the UK instead of the Tory model of closing all safe routes except for the ones catering to white Europeans. www.mirror.co.uk/news/politics/hundreds-more-illegal-migrants-deported-34124726.amp“Two more record-breaking deportation flights have taken off since the election - removing hundreds of people who entered the country illegally, the Sunday Mirror understands. It comes as Keir Starmer celebrated a major victory in his war against vile people smuggling gangs, with the arrest of the so-called “Engine King.” A Turkish man arrested in Amsterdam on Wednesday is thought to have supplied hundreds of boat motors to smugglers. It’s understood he has now been extradited to Belgium to face charges. The arrest is an important blow against the gangs and their supply chains, and is being seen as a “proof of concept” for the effort to target major figures across Europe suspected of being behind the trade. Labour can now boast to have organised the three biggest returns flights in UK history - with 629 people removed on these flights alone.“

I searched for a link on that story but couldn't find one.
Perhaps you can help out.

"Writing in today’s Telegraph, the Reform UK leader and his deputy Richard Tice MP say they have instructed a specialist company to “do” a private prosecution."
Aah ... so they've instructed someone to "do" <snigger> a private prosecution, eh? And just who do they wish to "prosecute"? The remarkably dusky-faced individuals who had just returned from abroad, one of whom had his head stamped on? Or the police doing the stamping? No prizes - by paging down you'll find the answer ...

Ah. Why shouldn't they say "do"? Does everything have to be wrapped up in insider-speak? It's pathetically snobbish.

Really? Is the (correct) word "bring" that much of a problem?
Perhaps this world really is dumbing down after all, what with England not "doing" enough tries against South Africa on Saturday, Russia "doing" lots of attacks against Ukraine, Starmer "doing" a meeting with the Chinese leader today etc. I don't know - maybe we should be "doing" more.
Or are we done?

Oh it's very clear what that are doing, stiring up the racists who voted for them after having failed to get sufficient of them to burn brown people alive, they are more of a troll farm than a political party.

Why do the left lie on their CVs? Is it because they're stupid and unaccomplished? It must be. "Downing Street has refused to say whether Rachel Reeves broke the ministerial code amid accusations that she lied about her CV. The Chancellor edited her LinkedIn profile last week to remove her previous claim that she worked as an economist at the Bank of Scotland between 2006 and 2009. The site was updated to state that her role was in “retail banking” at Halifax. She has also been accused of lying about how long she spent working at the Bank of England. On Monday, the Prime Minister’s official deputy spokesman was asked: “Is lying on your CV a breach of the ministerial code?” www.telegraph.co.uk/politics/2024/11/18/no-10-refuses-rachel-reeves-broke-ministerial-code-cv-row/

Yeah, the one they want, rather than the one their heirs or carers want?

"Hundreds of police officers will be on duty on Tuesday morning as angry farmers descend on Westminster to protest against Labour’s inheritance tax changes. A row has erupted over the new “tractor tax” for farms worth more than £1 million in a Budget move described as “destructive lunacy”. www.standard.co.uk/news/uk/met-police-farmers-westminster-rally-against-labour-inheritance-tax-jeremy-clarkson-b1194671.htmlI can't say I feel any particular sympathy towards farmers really. I've never met a poor one and they seem to have things very well tied up in support of their lifestyles. I understand the need to protect farms from constant division at the point of inheritance, but this nonsense of proxy-farming and inheritance protection has got to stop, especially as it's the people who can most afford to pay that are getting the benefit.
