Racists taking advantage of a tradergy to direct violence towards minorities is nothing new, Farage and conare just being who they are, racist scum. They could care less about the three girls killed, the only thing they care about is the perp is non white and how best they can use that to whip up their knuckle dragging followers, had the perp been white I doubt they'd have even bothered to comment. Nah, people can be pissed off at several different things at the same time, and one frustration can easily lead to a reaction against another.

But they knew all that. They really can't act like it's a surprise or that it's anything other than their choice. I think they have act surprised, in fact every tax raise by an incoming gov is couched as a suprise, or something regretful. No one gets elected by promising to raise tax to fix problems, even when the problems are as huge and costly as the UK faces now. That's not right here. We were given to believe that the tax rises would be increases tax take against them toffs. This will be across the board. And I confidently predict "them toffs" won't feel a thing.

And yeah, far too many loopholes. And offshoring should be taxed more. I quite like the US system where they have file tax even if they live overseas, not that they don't even more carve outs for rich people to avoid paying their fair share

Agreed. The whole system needs shitcanning. It cannot be right that people who earn the most pay the least.

Yup, but the ones who earn most also donate to political parties (of all stripes) the most. I like the idea of having parties funded from taxation rather than donation, less chance of them being bought by big corporations, and it's not just about tax, it's about big donars effectively stopping legislation that effects their operations. Get big money out of politics.

I know it’s not intentional but “tradergy” is my new favourite spelling.

I see that Andrew Tate has been stirring up his followers to protect their “daughters” from, presumably evil men who would target them. Especially those from overseas.
The irony is incredible….

I bet all they need is a strong white male figure to look up to and submit to and they’d just be happier.

I see the Southport murderer was a musical theatre type.

"More than 100 people have been arrested in central London as protests following the Southport knife attack spread to different parts of the country. Officers clashed with protesters on Whitehall, close to Downing Street, on Wednesday during a demonstration following the fatal stabbings of three girls at a Taylor Swift-themed dance class in Merseyside on Monday. Disorder also broke out in Hartlepool where eight people were arrested, several officers were injured and a police car was set on fire." www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c4ng1254ndeoIt feels like we're in for a summer of unrest. Starmer's hit the wrong notes with large swathes of the population, most of whom didn't vote for him in the first place. This looks like it's led by the EDL, who obviously have an agenda, but there has been a tension in the country for a while now, and Starmer has made those frustrations worse.

No one gets elected by promising to raise tax to fix problems, even when the problems are as huge and costly as the UK faces now. It appears that Rachel Reeves might actually be right as well as being cynical. Baloo’s claim that they knew the public finances might be mostly right. But the 6.4bn Home Office overspend on hotels owned by friends of the Tories and on flights that didn’t happen was not on the books and nobody knew about it in the public domain. There’s quite a big chunk of change - 100 quid per person - that they have to come up with from somewhere.

It is funny that when a Welsh-Rwandan stabs kids the idiot right go and attack the police. All this “lawn order” and “support our security services” stuff is about as shallow as can be. Fight the police? Over this? f**k**g wankstains on humanity.

Agreed, they are wankstains. They are angry wankstains though, about a number of things. I think they'd have a problem articulating exactly what their frustrations are, but they're certainly teasy.
