I predict that things will just trundle on until the rest of mankind is illuminated by the revelation that its actions have been absolutely cuntish, whereupon we'll enter the Age of Enlightenment and all love each other immensely.

The dinosaurs will make a comeback and will be found living in a kind of Lost World of their own in a back garden somewhere near Walsall.
Lord Lucan will turn up, eking out a living as an aged ladyboy, sans moustache, in the waterfront bars of Montevideo.
Shergar will be found working the sands of Weston Super Mare in the low season prior to being shipped off as dog food to the French.
Gordon Brown will turn out to be a ventriloquist's dummy who is only capable of anything like cogent speech when Mandelson's hand is up his arse.

Wolves will stay up.
I'll reach above halfway in the fantasy football.
Ss will return, as Puff said, but will flounce off again soon after.

Can some one confirm whether a thousand people a day are dying from swine flu in the UK? Or even in the USA

I further predict that the USA will not fragment in 2010, in the manner predicted by the Russian professor in the above thread. And he will continue to forecast that it is just about to happen.

I thank all those who acknowledged my predictive powers - I just wish that I'd had a few quid on it and hope that you did

At the start of September, Omni said "The OECD are predicting Q3 contraction for the UK. I'd be gasted like a flabber if that turned out to be right."
Heh heh.

Gosh I hope I hope I don't end up flabberghasted, otherwise lala will bring my prediction back like a pheonix from the ashes to put a stake through my heart of crystal ball gazing.

If it is any consolation, the only reason I can spell phoenix is because I know I have to reverse what I think is the right letter order. I instinctively spell it wrongerly as well, and learned the hard way as a result of having a student called Phoenix in one of my classes once. Year of having a snotty 13 year old getting uppity about how her name is spelled, that'll larn you ...
At first I thought she was named after the Greek bird, and I thought that was pretty cool. Then I learned that she had a sister, called Chicago. I am not making this up.

I don't believe in predictions as such because I don't believe the future is set[like Emmet in Back to the future] However i wil make a possible prediction. Once we have finished our business in the Middle East, America will once again grow cold towards Britain. One day the Americans will discover that winning for its own sake is for losers.

I predict that rising immigration will bring a lot of moaning about immigration but fail to materialise in race wars or in fact much in the way of significant disturbance at all.

Current death toll for Swine Flu in Britain is 79. I declare myself to have won my wager with Johnny Alpha.
