I think the money issue of being more secure in your career will probably be the only ace thing about being in my 30s. But then I guess it's nto how old you are but how old you look. As long as I keep getting mistaken for early 20s/asked for ID in the freakin supermarket then I guess I'll be happy.

At 22 you may think you are quite pretty but you may lack confidence. At 32 you have the green light for wearing long black lace gloves and sequin shoes. That's my take on it. I've seen some beautiful women in all ages, unfortunately I don't think I'm one of them. Still I'm quite clever and I look after the birds lol

Speak for yourself Omni, I'm still in me 20s!
I think the only age I found shocking in all honesty was Dwad's. I had him firmly in the slippers and cardigan category. To find out he is not yet 30 was a shock.
Happy belated New Yorker, did you celebrate much? Or did you do that at 40?

21 sucked for me, I was in a really sh1t job earning bog all money and in a relationship with a vile manipulative older man who I was too young and foolish to run away screaming from.
If I'd gone through in my 20s what I've (already) had to go through in my 30s I doubt I would have survived to be the joyful upbeat type that I am. Nothing really scares me now, and that's nice.

My pulling power at 21 was great. But that is maybe because I was living in Paris/at uni where the men are all sluts.

Nah, I'm not your average slob in his 40's, I take excellent care of myself, very disciplined, each meal is a chapter out of a sports nutrition text book, workout daily, and of course, naturally pretty. Doesn't really matter much, you might squeeze a couple more years of fitness if you're in good shape and live right but in all honesty, very few people of either sex are going to be hot after 45. You're already at an age when women in their 20s won't look at you, hell I'm 31 and you're too old for me. Enjoy it while you can because it will be taken away from you. You seem to be under the impression that I want to date a kid in her 20's, nah, I'm much to observant and smart for that. The girls in their 20's are naturally silly creatures, and will be for at least the entirety of that decade, it's their right to be that way, bless them, time to explore and have loads of happy go lucky fun, that said, for a older guy involved with one, it's very annoying and boring, if you've been there and done that fifty times over, and you're really over it already, for example, to me, clubbing is borderline torture, and having a young girl like that is like having a hyper puppy on your arm jumping around and chasing it's tail. Besides, I could have made one of them in the late 1980's. As far as I'm concerned, my dating pool is 30-40.

My teens were crap. Really, really crap. I hated my school years. I often hear people say 'oh your school years are your best years'. Not true.
I loved 18 - 24. Then I had to get all serious and stuff. At the moment thinks have gone crappy again cos I hate my job (or rather, am having issues with certain people at my job), so once out life will be grand once more.

My teens were frikkin' awesome, I loved the 80's, my first car was a 1960's musclecar, I had a fake ID to get booze and into clubs, it was the teenage American dream. 20's were adventurous, fun, but not as exuberant as my teens. 30's decade of drudgery. 40's, I'll letchya know.

Being 50 is ok as long as u are not a big fat frumpy 50. Even some 30 somethings are fat and frumpy. Im happy to have got to 50 and not got fat unlike some younger women/men. :-) You lot have still got to make it there ;-)

You seem to be under the impression that I want to date a kid in her 20's, nah, I'm much to observant and smart for that. I hear you. Younger men bore me, they seem to think all they have to is grace me with their presence and I'll be up for it. And they talk about music and clothes far, far too much. Feral, goes without saying you're one of them.
