If you want evidence about the case for moving towards the abolition of private schools, the 'self confidence' of Dragon School mediocraties, like Dwad and Cobblers, provides a powerful argument. Ha ha ha - one cretin crticising two other cretins on the internet = "powerful argument".

Our school gave self-confidence, not self worth. Self-confidence without self-worth? A miracle. A powerful argument for moving towards the abolition of enclaves of delusion.

I think this is probably more a powerful proof that the kind of person who interjects in two people reminiscing about being 8 expressly to hurl personal insults is probably a bit of a wnkr?

The Dragon School is pretty cheap but it does serious harm by encouraging mediocrities to self-confidently pontificate.
Fees Dragon School School fees for the academic year 2008/9, per term, are: Boarding - £7,270 Day (8 - 13) - £5,080 Lynams Yr 3 - £3,640 Lynams Yr 2, Yr 1 - £3,180 Lynams Reception - £2,760

Surname begins with an 'S' Dwad?
Bertrus, I look back fondly on those days that's all and was enjoying reminiscing with Dwad about it.
I think it's funny how you're trying to put me and Dwad in the same category character-wise and extrapolate an argument against private schools from it, but please be our guest. Is how you behave an argument against the kind of school you went to?
Which school was it by the way? You won't be identifiable, so please do tell.

the kind of person who interjects in two people reminiscing about being 8 Get yourself a room on Chat. If you want to expose the fatuity of basing your self-esteem on what your parents were prepared to spend on you as children, expect a few remarks on a forum for adults.

What makes you think my parents spent a penny? Is this about me or the school?

Bertrus is priceless. What harm are we doing you by having a chat about old times? What possible interest can you have in joining this discussion with the sole intention of sniping, digging around for any angle which in your deluded and tiny mind could possibly 'hurt' us?
You are a low and base individual and your 'contributions' on this thread merely serve to highlight that.

If you type OD into Google it is in the very first entry from Wikipaedia, and if you go for "school OD" its hompage is on the first page of 42 million results. I'm just not very ashamed of where my parents sent me to school. Why are you?

The conversation developed quite naturally in the context of a discussion about school discipline.
If you want to return to the topic, by all means make an observation/comment on it. But I fail to see why you should find it so upsetting that Dwad and I realised we went to the same school and then have a conversation about it.
But please do carry on exposing your character flaws...

On a thread about schools and teachers we find a bizarre coincidence and reminisce for a few posts about old teachers and you are throwing some kind of educational hissy fit, throwing round insults and being a complete knob. You're a psychiatrist's field trip.

Sorry Bert. I just thought we were offering a "powerful argument against the schools system in this country". Or something. Beg your forgiveness. Most sorry. Grovel. Etc.

Bertrus' apoplexy is palpable.
Make us take it to chit chat.
