Those stories reming me of this Monty Python Sketch:
The 'Four Yorkshiremen' Sketch
___________________________________
Four well-dressed men sitting together at a vacation resort. "Farewell to Thee" being played in the background on Hawaiian guitar.
Michael Palin: Ahh .. Very passable, this, very passable.
Graham Chapman: Nothing like a good glass of Chateau de Chassilier wine, ay Gessiah?
Terry Gilliam: You're right there Obediah.
Eric Idle: Who'd a thought thirty years ago we'd all be sittin' here drinking Chateau de Chassilier wine?
MP: Aye. In them days, we'd a' been glad to have the price of a cup o' tea.
GC: A cup ' COLD tea.
EI: Without milk or sugar.
TG: OR tea !
MP: In a filthy, cracked cup.
EI: We never used to have a cup. We used to have to drink out of a rolled up newspaper.
GC: The best WE could manage was to suck on a piece of damp cloth.
TG: But you know, we were happy in those days, though we were poor.
MP: Aye. BECAUSE we were poor. My old Dad used to say to me, "Money doesn't buy you happiness."
EI: 'E was right. I was happier then and I had NOTHIN'. We used to live in this tiiiny old house, with greaaaaat big holes in the roof.
GC: House? You were lucky to have a HOUSE ! We used to live in one room, all hundred and twenty-six of us, no furniture. Half the floor was missing; we were all huddled together in one corner for fear of FALLING !
TG: You were lucky to have a ROOM ! *We* used to have to live in a corridor !
MP: Ohhhh we used to DREAM of livin' in a corridor ! Woulda' been a palace to us. We used to live in an old water tank on a rubbish tip. We got woken up every morning by having a load of rotting fish dumped all over us ! House !? Hmph.
EI: Well when I say "house" it was only a hole in the ground covered by a piece of tarpaulin, but it was a house to US.
GC: We were evicted from *our* hole in the ground; we had to go and live in a lake !
TG: You were lucky to have a LAKE ! There were a hundred and sixty of us living in a small shoebox in the middle of the road.
MP: Cardboard box?
TG: Aye.
MP: You were lucky. We lived for three months in a brown paper bag in a septic tank. We used to have to get up at six o'clock in the morning, clean the bag, eat a crust of stale bread, go to work down mill for fourteen hours a day week in-week out. When we got home, out Dad would thrash us to sleep with his belt !
GC: Luxury. We used to have to get out of the lake at three o'clock in the morning, clean the lake, eat a handful of hot gravel, go to work at the mill every day for tuppence a month, come home, and Dad would beat us around the head and neck with a broken bottle, if we were LUCKY !
TG: Well we had it tough. We used to have to get up out of the shoebox at twelve o'clock at night, and LICK the road clean with our tongues. We had half a handful of freezing cold gravel, worked twenty-four hours a day at the mill for fourpence every six years, and when we got home, our Dad would slice us in two with a bread knife.
EI: Right. I had to get up in the morning at ten o'clock at night, half an hour before I went to bed, eat a lump of cold poison, work twenty-nine hours a day down mill, and pay mill owner for permission to come to work, and when we got home, our Dad would kill us, and dance about on our graves singing "Hallelujah."
MP: But you try and tell the young people today that ... and they won't believe ya'.
ALL: Nope, nope ..

One of Few, I will try to love again, though I know the first cut is the deepest, baby I know, etc. Afghan clams are best because they have beards. Beards may be shorn at the discretion of the user (with great care) but they must be present when proceedings commence. I remember that Python sketch Pos. I remember them all with great affection. OoM, we didn't even get b & w tv until the year of the Melbourne Olympics, 1956. We used to stand outside shops and watch through the window. Have I caught up? No-one expects the Spanish Inquisition
Our chief weapon is surprise, surprise and fear
Our two chief weapons are surpise, fear and ruthless efficiency
Three !!
Our three weapons our Surprise. Fear. Ruthless Efficiency and our fanatical devoution to the Pope
To make Banjo feel better, should we have an Oz Day.
I'll slip into my Brad from Neighbours wig, order a Smoothie from the local cafe, imagine my dog has dreams about other dogs and drive a Ute.

Gooday Pandy, nice to be awake when you are. One of Few, I am a big fan of Pommy women in general and that one in particular ! It's your eyes and of course your complexion, skin like that seldom lasts past 16 - 18 here. And English women have the nack of appearing to like men, these days in Australia it's more like a struggle for supremacy.

ahem .... here's a joke for you then
A man and a woman were dating. She being of a religious nature had held back the worldly pleasure that he wanted from her so bad. In fact, he had never even seen her naked.
One day, as they drove down the freeway, she remarked about his slow driving habits. "I can't stand it anymore," she told him.
"Let's play a game. For every 5 miles per hour over the speed limit you drive, I"ll remove one piece of clothing.
He enthusiastically agreed and sped up the car.
He reached the 55 MPH mark, so she took off her blouse.
At 60 off came the pants.
At 65 it was her bra and at 70 her panties.
Now seeing her naked for the first time and traveling faster than he ever had before, he became very excited and lost control of the car. He veered off the road, went over an embankment and hit a tree. His girlfriend was not hurt but he was trapped. She tried to pull him free but alas he was stuck.
"Go to the road and get help," he said.
"I don't have anything to cover myself with !" she replied.
The man felt around, but could only reach one of his shoes. "You'll have to put this between your legs to cover it up," he told her.
So she did as he said and went up to the road for help. Along came a truck driver. Seeing a naked, crying woman along the road, he pulled over to hear her story.
"My boyfriend ! My boyfriend !" she sobs, "He's stuck and I can't pull him out !"
The truck driver looking down at the shoe between her legs replies, "Ma'am, if he's in that far, I'm afraid he'a a gonner !"

Two gays at a fairground see the big wheel, one wantsa go but his boyfriend is too scared so he just stays on the ground and watches. Shortly after the ride has got under way there is a huge creak, then the whole big wheel collapses and falls to the ground.
Scrambling through the twisted wreckage the panic stricken spectator eventually finds his boyfriend inthe carnage. "Are you hurt?" he shouts.

Little Tommy runs into the bathroom one day to find his mother taking a bath. He points at her bush and asks, 'What's that Mommy?'
A little embarrassed, she tells him that is her sponge. Tommy is satisfied with that answer and goes back to playing with his toys. Some time later, Tommy catches his mother in the shower shortly after she has shaved her bush for bikini season. Tommy asks her, 'Where is your sponge mommy?'
Again embarrassed she tells him that she lost it but will probably find it soon. Tommy is a little worried and promises his mommy that he will help her find it. His mother says OK and goes back to showering. Soon, Tommy comes running back in and says that he has found his mother's sponge.
‘What do you mean you found my sponge? Where?''
The lady next door has it and she's washing Daddy's face with it !

Probably heard it but here goes anyway !
One night a guy takes his girlfriend home.
As they are about to kiss each other goodnight at the front door, the guy starts feeling a little horny.
With an air of confidence, he leans with his hand against the wall and smiling, he says to her. "Honey, would you give me a blow job??"
Horrified, she replies, "Are you mad? My parents will see us !"
"Oh come on ! Who's gonna see us at this hour?"
"No, please. Can you imagine if we get caught?"
"Oh come on ! There's nobody around, they're all sleeping !"
"No way. It's just too risky !"
"Oh please, please, I love you so much? !"
"No, no and no. I love you too, but I just can't !"
"Oh yes you can. Please?"
"No, no. I just can't"
"I'm begging you ..."
Out of the blue, the light on the stairs goes on, and the girl's sister shows up in her pyjamas, hair dishevelled, and in a sleepy voice she says, "Dad says to go ahead and give him a blow job, or I can do it. Or if need be, Mum says she can come down herself and do it. But for f*cks sake, tell him to take his hand off the intercom."

A man was on holiday in the Caribbean and liking the continual good weather settled down for a day's sunbathing. Well, after a whole day his legs were sunburned beyond belief and he could hardly stand the pain.
So he goes along to the doctor for treatment. The doctor looks at his sunburned legs and said, "Well, you realize that this in only a small village surgery and in reality I've really got nothing at all to help you. However, try this." He gives him one tablet of Viagra. So the man says, "but I've got acute sunburn what's a Viagra tablet going to do? The doctor says, "basically, nothing at all but it will help keep the sheets off your legs tonight"....

One day, a teacher, a garbage collector, and a lawyer all die and go to Heaven. St. Peter's there and was having a bad day since heaven was getting crowded. When they get to the gate, St. Peter informed them that there will be a test to get into Heaven: they each will have to answer a single question.
To the teacher, he says, "What was the name of the ship that crashed into the Iceberg and sunk with all its passengers?"
The teacher thinks for a sec, and then replies: "That would have been the Titanic, right?". St. Peter lets him through the gate.
St. Peter turns to the Garbage man, and, figuring that Heaven doesn't REALLY need all the stink that this guy would bring into heaven, decides to make the question a little harder: "How many people died on the ship?" The garbage man guesses: "1228" "That happens to be right; go ahead."
St. Peter turns to the Lawyer: "Name them."

The lady was so ticked that she went into the store and said that she would sue the store and kill the bird. The store manager apologised profusely and promised he would make sure the parrot didn't say it again.
When the lady walked past the store that day after work, the parrot called to her, "Hey, lady."
She paused and said, "Yes?"
The bird said, "You know."

A guy rents an apartment in New York, and goes to the lobby to put his name on the group mailbox. While there, an attractive young lady comes out of the apartment next to the mailboxes wearing a robe. He smiles at the young girl and she strikes up a conversation with him.
As they talk, her robe slips open, and it's quite obvious that she has nothing on under the robe. Poor guy breaks out into a sweat trying to maintain eye contact.
After a few minutes, she places her hand on his arm and says, "Let's go in my apartment, I hear someone coming ..." He precedes her into the apartment, and after she closes the door, she leans against it allowing her robe to fall completely open. She purrs at him, "What would you say is my best feature?"
The flustered, embarrassed guy stammers, clears his throat several times, and finally squeaks out "Oh, it's got to be your ears !" She's astounded ! Why my ears? Look at these boobs ! They are full, don't sag, and they're all mine ! My butt - it's firm, doesn't sag, and has no cellulite ! Look at this skin, no blemishes, or scars ! Why in heaven's name would you say my ears are the best part of my body? !"
Clearing his throat once again, he stammers - "Outside when you said you heard someone coming - THAT WAS ME !"

It's a beautiful, warm spring morning and a man and his wife are spending the day at the zoo. She's wearing a cute, loose-fitting, pink spring dress, sleeveless with straps. He's wearing his normal jeans and a T-shirt. The zoo is not very busy this morning. As they walk through the ape exhibit, they pass in front of a very large hairy gorilla. Noticing the girl, the gorilla goes ape. (no pun intended.) He jumps up on the bars, and holding on with one hand (and 2 feet), he grunts and pounds his chest with his free hand. He is obviously excited at the pretty lady in the wavy dress and the husband noticing the excitement, thinks this is funny. He suggests that his wife tease the poor fellow some more. The husband suggests she pucker her lips, wiggle her bottom at him, and play along.
She does, and Mr. Gorilla gets even more excited, making noises that would wake the dead. Then the husband suggests that she let one of her straps fall to show a little more skin. She does, and Mr. Gorilla is about to tear the bars down. "Now try lifting your dress up your thighs and sort of fan it at him." This drives the gorilla absolutely crazy and now he's doing flips.
Then the husband nabs his wife by the hair, rips open the door to the cage, slings her in with the gorilla and slams the cage door shut. "Now, tell HIM you have a headache."

Outside the gates of Heaven are a queue of Nuns.
St Peter turns to address them and says before you can enter you must be totally purified. So any of you who have ever allowed a mans "love tool" to touch any part of you body must dip it in the holy water.
The first Nun approaches and dios the tip of her finger in it saying she's permitted into heaven.
The second Nun dips her hand in and is then permitted to heaven.
All of a sudden there is a commotion at the back of the line between and one of the nuns surges forward. "What on earth are you doing exclaims St Peter". The nun bursts out "well I'm going to gargle before I let Sister Mary stick her bum in it ...
