Their names are Mads Gilbert and Erik Fosse. If you have been watching news reports from within Gaza reporting on civilian casualties, you may have seen them hovering about in the background or giving interviews to the press. They belong to a Norwegian organisation called NORWAC www.norwac.no/ which strangely enough is most active, exclusively active in Islamic countries.
More on Mads Gilbert can be found here - check out his remarks on the dead US civilians in 9/11 and then contrast it with his apparent attitude to the conflict in Gaza

Controversy
Often portrayed by Norwegian media with controversial statements, Gilbert is on record criticizing Médecins Sans Frontières for its failure to take positions in conflicts.[8] A statement made to Dagbladet in the wake of the September 11 attacks was met with strong reactions.[1] His statement to Dagbladet was: "The attack on New York did not come as a surprise with the politics the West has followed the last decades. I am upset by the terrorist attack, but I am at least as upset over the suffering that the US has caused. It is in this context that 5000 dead has to be seen. If the U.S. government has a legitimate right to bomb and kill civilians in Iraq, the oppressed has a moral right to attack the U.S. with the weapons they may create as well. Dead civilians are the same whether they are Americans, Palestinians or Iraqis." When asked if he supported a terrorist attack against the US he answered: "Terror is a poor weapon, but my answer is yes, within the context I have mentioned." [9]
Gilbert's popularity took a distinct decline after having been selected Årets nordlending the previous year.[6] The incident was described by Nordlys editor Hans Kristian Amundsen as "probably the stupidest thing he's ever done", citing it as proof that Gilbert is a "hopeless politician".[1] In an interview with the Norwegian news agency NTB in 2009, Gilbert described his own statements in the aftermath of 9/11 as "unwise and ill-considered", stressing that he is completely against terror against civilians.[10]
On being a doctor as well as a politician, Gilbert has said the two roles are indistinguishable, and that "there is little in medicine that isn't politics".[11]
[edit] 2008–2009 Israel–Gaza conflict
Arriving on emergency assignment for the Norwegian Aid Committee (NORWAC) with the surgeon Erik Fosse to support the humanitarian effort at Shifa hospital during the 2008–2009 Israel–Gaza conflict,[12][13][14] at a period foreign journalists were barred from entering the Gaza Strip.[15] As international media reported from outside the conflict zone, Gilbert maintained frequent contact with Norwegian media,[16][17] as well as segments of the world press, including CNN, BBC, ABC and Al Jazeera.[12]
Following a grenade strike to a Gaza City vegetable market on January 3, Gilbert sent an SMS text to his Norwegian and international contacts, with an appeal for all who read it to pass it on.[18][19][20]
From doctor Mads Gilbert in Gaza: Thanks for your support. They bombed the central vegetable market in Gaza city two hours ago. 80 injured, 20 killed. All came here to Shifa. Hades! We wade in death, blood and amputees. Many children. Pregnant woman. I have never experienced anything this horrible. Now we hear tanks. Tell it, pass it on, shout it. Anything. DO SOMETHING! DO MORE! We're living in the history books now, all of us! Mads G, 3.1.09 13:50, Gaza, Palestine.[18][19][21]
The ensuing response sparked reports of Gilbert's message on a global scale,[22] and scores of declarations of support to the Norwegian Palestine Committee.[23]
On January 5, after 10 days of the Israeli heavy air bombardment on Gaza strip, BBC news reporter in Gaza Rushdi Abu Alouf interviewed Dr. Mads Gilbert on the status inside Gaza's AL-Shifa Hospital. In the interview Dr. Gilbert stated that 99% of the killed were civilians, 25% were children and women[24]
Among critical voices commenting on Gilbert after the media exposure of January 2009, right-wing party FrP leader Siv Jensen has described Gilbert as a "local politician from Rødt", criticizing that he has been permitted without censorship to act as a voice of anti-Israel propaganda.[6][25] Jensen's statements have in turn been strongly criticized, from among others Norwegian minister of foreign affairs Jonas Gahr Støre.[26]
On January 8, 2009, while in Gaza, Mads Gilbert was in a video which appeared on CNN which allegedly showed the brother of a cameraman dying while Gilbert and another doctor worked to save him. After questions were raised regarding the legitimacy of the video, CNN stated that they stand by the video.[27][28]

I have translated most of an article that appeared in Norways largest newspaper today.
RAFAH/OSLO (VG Nett) For seven days the two norwegian doctors have worked hard to save lives in Gaza. Yet, Dr. Erik Fosse means that reporting about the war to the media is the most important they have done.
“I think that’s the most important Mads and I have done. That we destroyed the whole media strategy of Israel by reporting on this. They had planned to do this in a totally shut down area without foreign health-workers and journalists. They would have done that very well unless we, with the help of UD (Norwegian foreign department), had managed to sneak in right before it closed”, Fosse said on telephone to VG Nett.
- Are you saying that it has been more important than the medical effort?
“That may very well be so, yes. That the witness function that we had and to tell about what is really happening, have been more important. I believe that it is important that it is known that the propaganda story that one only kill a lot of mad terrorists and Hamas folks, is not true at all. Who they kill here are civilian Palestines, children and women. They don’t care if it’s the one or the other”.
Did not wish to become a “press bureau”
Erik Fosse and Mads Gilbert got into Gaza on New Years Eve. From January 1st. they have been operative at the Shifa hospital. It was quickly established that they were the only westerners that had managed to go into Gaza. Israel closed the borders for journalists completely. Because of this, these two doctors became interesting for the media, all over the world, that wished independent western reports from Gaza and did not want to rely on Palestinian media.
Fosse and Gilbert have themselves been criticized for not being independent. They are both known for their strong sympathies for Palestine, something they have not tried to hide. Erik Fosse reacts strongly to the criticism.
“Does anybody really believe we travelled down here in order to sit and lie to the press?”

In a word... YES.
Check out all the footage of supposedly wounded children entering the hospital - it looks staged.
And the gullible West sucks it up.
