Damn right lefties will back her up. She's essentially doing blackface, and lefties are forced to applaud her for it. And then there is Bruce Jenner. If he can change gender simply by claiming he feels like a woman, then people should be able to change race/ethnicity simply by saying so. My oh my, what a tangled web the left has created.

You should probably read up some more on transgenderism, as in scientific texts on it and understand why it really isn't comparable.

Bruce Jenner also hasn't changed gender. Gender and sex are different things. Transgender means one's sex assigned at birth does not correspond to one's gender.

To address the post, why is this considered racist? She wants to be black the same way some black people want to be white. The fact that she invented black parents and a black child is a bit weird though. Anyway, she looks better as a so called black person, more vibrant and alive somehow and she's obviously found her niche. Really I don't care if she's black or white as long as she's comfortable presenting herself as black that's fine with me. Now if she got her job pretending to be black and they were looking for a black person to fill that spot, then there may be a problem, but as far as I know that wasn't the case.

I don't think it's racist to wish to have a different physical appearance. I think if you feel that you are internally or "truly" black then yes you're a racist.

This woman was odd though. Jenner never claimed to have been assigned the biological sex of female from birth. No pretending to have periods. No pretending to have given birth etc. No pretending to have a vagina. Just stated that her gender identity was that of a woman.

This woman actually invented black parents. There is a mini video doing the rounds on Facebook with a picture of her claiming to "go natural" (grow out her relaxer) as she hits her 36th year. Posting a picture of her with "natural hair" which is actually her in the frizzy wig / weave she likes to wear. That is a whole new level of crazy.

She would have done better to state she is white but identifies as black. And it would have been much fun to see her define that in a non racist way.

It's exactly like transderism. If someone can magically change their gender simply by saying so, it logically follows someone should be allowed to magically change their race/ethnicity just by saying so. Right? Hey, it's a brave new world. Yesterday I was a bald eagle. Later on today I might be Chinese, and maybe tomorrow I will be an American-Indian or African-American. Then I can collect some affirmative action benefits meant for minorities.
