Rammed to the gunnels with midgets. Probably made to pedal as well. Mids already made a joke like that, only better. If you're going to steal other people's jokes and tell them more worsely, take your show to the Fringe, where they think highly of that sort of thing. Midgets, unlikely. Children, possible. People colonising or holding more than one seat, possible. Corbyn moving further down the train looking for a pair of seats so he could sit with his wife and then finding there were none and then finding all the singles he had scorned had been taken, quite likely. There are, after all, more people in the world than Jeremy Corbyn, though you wouldn't know it from the way the media go on about him. Mids and ming being knobs, almost certain.

Interesting to hear Owen Smith on BBC Radio 4 this morning saying that Corbyn is guilty as sin.

He has also said Corbyn is a lunatic. While also having said he wants Corbyn in the Shadow Cabinet. So what does that say about Smith's judgement?

"People colonising or holding more than one seat, possible."
Is this some sort of yogic exercise, colonising a seat?

JC continues to show his great leadership qualities and Labour should be proud to have such a great stateman at their helm....

Trains are always busy with folks without seats. It happens every day, possibly every single hour.

Anyway, the privatisation of rail is clearly a great success. Cheap too.
First class empty - oh hello. They wouldn't be in their limos would they? Middle class packed to the gunwhales. No working class because they can't afford to travel by rail.

No working class because they can't afford to travel by rail. My late wife took issue over this exact thing. On a train from Birmingham to London, she couldn't find a seat, while 1st class carriages were empty, so she sat in 1st class. The conductor asked to see her ticket, told her she would have to move. My wife stood her ground (even whilst sitting) and told the conductor, she had paid for a seat, and had no intention of stading all the way to London, so, he could either find her a seat elsewhere, or stop harassing her. She sat 1st class to London, at no extra cost.

Rammed to the gunnels with midgets. Probably made to pedal as well. It possibly said "reserved" on the monitors.

Well. that's as may well be Lala, but both of these "men" are Labour politicians and self-confessed socialists so what you are inviting me to do is to compare the merits of different kinds of dog turds.

One is so addicted to the truth he doesn't like to part with it and the other is so monstrously thick he wouldn't know the truth if it hit him in the face with a wet flannel. You could try pulling their beards out hair by hair to see who cracks first.

Wasn’t it the miracle of The Virgin Jeremy That a train that people thought was jam-packed – came to to have lots of empty seats after he waved his hand at the video camera.
In his angry press conference this morning he tried the excuse “ah I was looking for a double seat so I could sit next to to my wife”..that of course is lame. – And to think how MSM would have treated Boris had he tried the same video stunt....? Still , it could have been worse....had he been with his old squeeze Linda FAtbot he would have needed a few more seats together..!!

I think Corbyn is doing a brilliant job of demonstrating how terrible privatised rail is. First he shows that the trains are overcrowded, too short, too infrequent; then he shows that the companies are cynical manipulators who'll do anything in Photoshop to discredit someone who points out their flaws.
He'll sort out the country properly once we elect him president.

I can't remember the last time I travelled by train, but I do know that the ticket prices are eye-watering. They are in France too, from what I've seen.
I'm trying to work out the best way of travelling to Briancon by train (avec ma petite princesse) but it's really not straightforward.

Paris - Briancon about €300 return for 2. 2nd class.
< €100 extra 1st class. Recommended.
