Welcome back. That sounds like an entirely unappealing process. Glad it was you and not me.

Haha! Welcome back, you silly sod. Glad you're feeling better.
Sarah will remember to put the hoover under lock and key the next time she goes away for a couple of days, eh?

Stirling achievement by NZ's Patel, all 10 wickets in one innings.

You have to feel for the poor bastard.
Takes 10 wickets in an innings, his colleagues collapse for the lowest ever first innings score in India (maybe lowest ever total in India?), and in less than a day he's opening the bowling again!

"NZ's Patel".
Something rather pleasing about that.

Ajaz Patel is bowling for NZ, Axar Patel is bowling for India. It’s positively confusing.
Add in that the only other wicket taker for NZ is Rachin Ravindra and there’s definitely an interesting dynamic going on.

Poor Nasser Hussein. He might have thought that this would provide a counterpoint to his decision to bowl first at The Gabba, finally make him not the butt of all jokes about bad decisions after winning the toss. Instead, what has happened is that everyone has been reminded of it every few minutes for the last 18 hours….
You know that if Root had done a Nasser and put Australia in, they’d have been about 220-1 at tea with Warner on 140.

Everyone - Mention the Cricket!
Joe Root and Dawid Malan breathed life into the first Ashes Test against Australia with a defiant partnership of 159 on day three at the Gabba.
In a complete turnaround from England's first-innings 147 all out, the third-wicket pair took the tourists to 220-2, 58 behind in Brisbane.
