And Canada beat Ireland yesterday. It's wild.
Afghanistan, at least, are a test playing country.

It's bizarre that Pakistan scored well over 500 in the first innings and are still third favourites after England and the draw.

yeah, I'd have thought it was most likely to be a draw.

You don't know Pakistani cricket!! It is most likely to be a draw.

England 703 for 4
Root out for a measly 262!

I was thinking "Root must be f**k**g knackered after scoring 300 in the Pakistani sun on a pudding of a pitch and only making 70 of those in boundaries."
But having one player knackered is probably better than having your entire batting line-up knackered from spending days in the sun on a pudding of a pitch watching Root and Brook score 600 between them. It creates its own weird pressure that seems to have paid off for England.

Perfect Test Match in Pakistan. 1st day of the 3rd and final Test - all to play for. I've been watching on Pakistan TV via You Tube. The ground looks fantastic - a bit empty - but there is good reasons for that - but I wish I was there.

And there's a very outside chance with NZ playing well against India that the WTC final might, for once, not be between India and Australia. It's unlikely, but it's possible.
Sadly I'm not watching any test cricket at the moment. Time zones and not paying for streaming channels has ended it for me recently

I just want to say one word...Bugger.
We got well beaten...no excuses - we should have won this series. but no, we lost.
Our spinners were not effective - theirs were.
Our batsmen couldn't cope with spin, theirs could.
So, just the one word - b*gger.

I just want to say Woooohoooo! Mostly to New Zealand's series win in India, but also to the very idea of a competitive Pakistan team who get to play their matches in Pakistan rather than the Emirates. I'd prefer that Pakistan proved their competence against one of the other strong teams, but a day when two of England, India and Australia don't dominate is good for the health of test cricket.
