Sounds like exactly the kind of thing that would have been encouraged by that Yorkshire club culture

No, but it's the same reason I don't hold Joe Root responsible for not speaking up against it when it happened and for his prevaricating responses now.
Also, Rafiq doesn't seem to have poured lobster bisque down the throat of a held-down Jewish player...

And is Son a British Asian? Indeed he is …. “He’s one of own!!” As the chant goes.. The Prem is the most diverse sporting league in the World open to the best of breed & we see no colours or nationalities only excellence 😊

Uh huh... South Korean national, born in South Korea, went through youth teams in Hamburg, and then to Leverkusen.
He is, as you well know, not relevant to the discussion of how many people of Asian descent in Britain get through the ranks.
It's pretty clear that there is a lot of prejudice still. I can only think of (the thoroughly excellent) Hamza Choudhary at the top level.

Good …So you can see we don’t discriminate between someone from Seoul or South Tottenham ….it’s all about ability.

Interesting use of the word historical.

So you agree that there are almost no British born Asians in football, making it even more prejudiced than cricket.

Why are there no First Nations Brits in the British sprint teams?

They get fewer training opportunities, I guess.

Text from WKC, who appears to have "fallen" on another Bovril pot.
Could you tell News General that Wetkingcanute has been in hospital since Monday and won't be out until next Friday. So can't comment on Yorkshire CC. I've only got my phone and I'm not registered. It's nothing serious just a really f**k**g annoying fu ck.

I was wondering where he'd got to. Tell him to stay off his moped for a bit.

Also, that it's a great excuse for not appearing before the DCMS select committee.

He's probably regretting that Rivers of Blood tattoo.

He's well accross that threshold of "having a fall' rather than falling over.

Yes, he's "had one of his falls" I expect.

Hi,
Just to say I've been discharged. Thanks for your concern. It wasn't me Chalfonts nor did I have a fall. It was an endoscopic stapling on a Pharyngeal pouch. (In my throat)
I was Nil By Mouth for eight days and so had to have a tube down through my nose into my stomach. I process I would not recommend.
