I played golf with one of the young lads who plays for my ex team. Seriously good cricketer who was on a career for England before deciding it wasn't for him. He was saying how good Crawley is. This was 3 or 4 weeks ago.

It's the last day of the last Test of Summer.
The sun is shinning - the ground is full of excited and happy fans.
Root leads the England side out to field. We are about to beat Pakistan and go 2 up to win the series.
Anderson is about to take his 600th wicket.
god's in his heaven - all's right with the world.

well the County season will limp on - and there's 20/20 but no more Test matches in the UK this year.
The next Ashes series is in Oz November 2021

Yay! I know a lot of people don't rate Jimmy Anderson as one of the greatest bowlers ever, but I think they're wrong. The fact that he's managed to keep injury-free enough as a fast bowler to get 600 wickets is incredible, and is due to such a clean action. Then they whine about swinging the ball in English conditions so it doesn't really count, but never say the same about Murali or Kumble getting loads of wickets on dry subcontinental pitches or McGrath or Walsh on fast bouncy ones.
