I believe they wear it only as a precaution in case Tories try to burn down their flats. Wet your keffiyeh or turban and shove it under the door to stop the Tories asphyxiating you.

It's weird how little reporting there has been on the actual cause of the fire. It started in a Hotpoint fridge freezer. Yes but how? Electrical fault? Novel use? Spontaneous whitegood combustion?
