BBC apologises again for reporting the bare facts. Once again showing how it is utterly beholden to, and captured by, the British Extreme Right. You don’t have to be biased to know that “customary inflammatory speech” is not a biased way of reporting. It’s a neutral accurate way of reporting Farage’s speech.

Extreme anti-common sense from the BBC.

I expect that, recognising that she had made completely objective, neutral and impartial comments, she realised she had to apologise. That's how it works, doesn't it?

Extreme anti-common sense from the BBC. Agree. Forcing her to apologise is extreme anti-common-sense. Common sense is her stating a raw, bare fact as news but the BBC's right-wing capture has forced extreme anti-common-sense responses when they report facts.

This might be fun. "Will one of India's most celebrated writers really face prosecution for things she said more than a decade ago? Last week, 14 years after the original complaint, Delhi's most senior official granted permission for the Booker Prize-winning author Arundhati Roy to be prosecuted under India’s stringent anti-terror laws. The Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) is notorious for making it exceptionally challenging to get bail, often resulting in years of detention until the completion of trial." www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c3ggyz13m2poThe BBC's apparently incredulity is hilarious, given their tacit approval of any and all sanctions against anyone who ever made an off-colour or misplaced joke on WhatsApp or Facebook.

"There’s a memory, or more specifically a moment, that came to define Heidi Metcalf’s second birth. It wasn’t saying goodbye to her husband and newborn before being wheeled into an operating theatre, or the heart attack she thought she was having as she lay there on the table. It was when a male obstetrician “ripped the placenta” out of her body, without word or warning. A nurse, Ms Metcalf knows the intervention - while immensely painful - was necessary. She couldn't push it out naturally, which was causing potentially fatal bleeding. But she hadn’t “seen or met this man before”, and she can’t get past the fact that her consent, during one of the most traumatic experiences of her life, “meant so little”. “It felt like a violation - I needed to feel involved in what was happening to my body, and not just like a bystander.” Ms Metcalf is one of thousands of Australian women who have come forward to tell their stories, after the federal government assembled a team of experts to tackle what it calls 'medical misogyny'." www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cv229ereeejo
