Also, do we really need yet another movie about the f**k**g Blitz Spirit? Even if it's a patronising Blitz Spirit tale about the tolerance of Londoners under pressure with a mixed race boy with a black dad and a (presumably) Irish mom, it's still going to be tiresome Blitz Spirit Rah All Together Singing Songs In The Tube dogshit, isn't it?

Normally when they put out puff about this kind of crap they say things like "It's a story that needed to be told" and "A story we don't really know", but there can't be many British WWII stories that aren't widely known, and certainly none about the Laaahndan Blitz. It'll probably have Stormzy starring as a young princess Elizabeth in the rubble raising the morale

Yeah. It's interesting how most of the politician bellends suddenly start briefly behaving like adults when the disaster hits their state/district/city. It never lasts of course, but it shows that for them it really is all a performance and they're not actually nearly as thick as they have to pretend to be.
