Re: the nurse arrest.
I eagerly await the comments that "she should have just done what she was told then she wouldn't have been arrested..."

Incidentally I saw the videos earlier today and they were sickening. The police officer cannot possibly keep his job.

I doubt her career is in anyway in jeopardy, the cop on the other hand will be facing some very serious questions about his ability to continue in his.
Indefensible behaviour, though as usual the far right, who fetishes the cops to perverse levels see nothing wrong with arresting a woman for following the law.

The first story, about the nurse, is absolutely shocking and - I hope - the cop loses his job.
In comparison, the second story is an utter non-story, even if the reported facts are true (and, let's be honest, we all have our doubts).

Yeah the second story smacks of the usual far right 'war on Christmas' style of non story desperation.

But we're told by the whining, snowflake, SJW, trigger warning left that white people never get mistreated by US cops! Could the left have been lying to us?

The cop should have shot her.

the woman was not harmed, never was even taken out of hospital, the cop suspended, where is the problem?

the woman was not harmed, never was even taken out of hospital, the cop suspended, where is the problem? So, if you were manhandled and handcuffed, while carrying out your work professionally and calmly... You'd see no problem with that if the cop was suspended?

do you want to shoot the cop?
never said there wasn't a problem, I said that the problem was dealt with, it is not like the cop shot her, or broke her arm or something,

Ah, maybe this is a language issue. When someone says... ...I take it to mean they can't see a problem. You didn't answer the question btw, would you not be bothered if it happened to you? Whatever, the problem is it happened at all. Quote from one report - "Salt Lake City police chief Mike Brown apologised to Ms Wubbels and said changes had been made to police blood policies and officer training."So let's get this straight. A nurse calmly explains the law to a police officer and he arrests her for obeying the law that he's supposed to uphold. Plus now officers are being retrained so they don't arrest citizens for being law-abiding? I realise this is a pointless debate as Americans clearly have very different expectations of the police, than do Brits. But the irony of it is breathtaking.

the woman was not harmed, never was even taken out of hospital, the cop suspended, where is the problem? She was taken out of the hospital and put into a police car. She was harmed because she kept on saying he was hurting her. He was very rough with her and she called it rightly by saying it was an assault.

do you want to shoot the cop? never said there wasn't a problem, I said that the problem was dealt with, it is not like the cop shot her, or broke her arm or something, Oh, so that makes it okay then does it? Idiot. Try watching the whole altercation on Youtube, it's about 18 minutes long. After I watched it not only did I think the cop should be fired but also his superior officer who squatted down outside the car and proceeded to harangue her some more.
