Wonder why there's not so much coverage of the sex abuse of young males? Are males too macho to (have to be careful how I phrase this) er.. tell all. Or maybe males don't think it's that important? Young male actors and dancers get just as much attention from the pervs. It's a bit uncomfortable for the guardian/bbc to admit to too much gay shenanigans. They much prefer to attack straight white males. |

I guess Fox news and Breitbart and whatever other news sources you use can't have covered the Hollywood sex scandals. They can't have mentioned Weinstein with the same acreage of reporting that the real media did. Nor Louie CK. Nor Kevin Spacey. Nor Brett Ratner. Nor James Toback.
Of course, it should be noted that these people are actually not very important people. They don't make or change policy. You should treat them being sex-pests not much differently to the way you'd treat the manager at the local grocery store, or a partner in a small local accounting firm, being a sex-pest.
They should get nothing like the hype that Conyers and Moore are getting.

Pedos? There's some question about Spacey, but none of the other recent names has seemed particularly pedo.
And, perhaps there's a case that the media should cover them more than sex-pests in the local accountancy firm, because a wider public can boycott their products and force change. But it's way less important for the public to know about than people on the judiciary committee or people joining the senate.

Flipping through the tv news channels. Nothing on ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, MSNBC about Lauer. Guess they don't consider his firing newsworthy. But NBC morning news is talking about cows.

I watched a tiny bit (about 2 minutes) of NBC today this morning, and it was hilarious how hard they were finding it. It was incredibly awkward.
I now hear that "there have been rumours about Lauer for years...", which doesn't reflect well on NBC. And it appears that he was responsible for the departure of previous anchor Ann Curry.
Sadly, the departure of Lauer isn't going to fix the things that NBC gets wrong - they're somehow going to dumb themselves down even more.

at least the left actually does something about their sex pests, they either have a bit of credibility and resign themselves or get fired, the right just doubles down their support for their sex pests. I saw a report that sex pest claims against Bill O'Riley cost Fox something close to $100m in hush money for his numerous victims, on top of massive payouts to keep Ailes victims quiet.
