Weird. On my screen that’s not showing the specific words you said. I'm accurately paraphrasing what you said. Argue with that. Well as I don’t think any of that, your paraphrasing is fairly far from accurate. You tried though.

One does have to wonder how you can be so certain that you and your family are doomed to always being peasant scum, then.

And yet you haven’t been able to quote me saying that.
Odd that.

I just did.
"literal
adjective
1. taking words in their usual or most basic sense without metaphor or exaggeration. "dreadful in its literal sense, full of dread" 2. (of a translation) representing the exact words of the original text."

It’s a weird question aimed at words not said. You are suffering from a milder case of the Baloos. I still don’t get why middle class people get so irked at people working class people calling themselves working class. And it is a particularly middle class thing. Like you take personal offence to it or something. Very strange.

OK. You and your family are always going to be working class. You've said that. If nobody you're related to is capable of moving out of the class they're born in to, why is that?

That’s how we see ourselves. My background forms me and is who I am and is where I feel more comfortable. Why does that bother you?

It's just weird that you - who has all the trappings of a middle class person - feel like there's something innately, intrinsically working class about yourself. I mean, how is it possible that you and your family are unable to ever become middle class unless class is a congenital condition?

Speaking of Australia I get to vote for the first time here.
Although it turns out my seat is a Labor stronghold so were it not for the Senate vote, fines and free sausage sizzle I wouldn’t need to bother.
