The TDF was the same. The entirety of it passed through Trumpington in about a minute.

well women's sport is treated with somewhat more condensation, comments about their hair, makeup, looks and so on from a certain element, so I doubt they need much encouragement to rail against them for not easing off when winning easily. Wouldn't an excess of condensation itself play havoc with their hair, makeup, looks and so on? FYI, the OVO Energy Women's Cycle Tour 2019 passed along Didcot Broadway and on through Harwell Village on yesterday's Henley to Blenheim Palace stage. Straight up, they blocked the Broadway when one of them came off due to a speed bump (they were going UPHILL at the time), bringing down a bunch of other riders. The good burghers and shop-owners of the town were less than amused as the Broadway then took almost an hour to clear. Compare this with the men's Tour of Britain that passed through nearby Upton and Blewbury a few years ago, where all riders plus support vehicles were through in about 30 seconds flat on the Bath to High Wycombe stage of that ride. I did mention differences between men's and women's spatial awareness last week on here, but I didn't think I'd see it so spectacularly highlighted so soon. At least she was racing, Froome managed to throw it down the road on a recce.

I forgot how to ride a bike.
The saying is clearly a lie.

Chris Froome blocked a road in France. It's different.

I have all kinds of questions about Froome's crash. It seems so f**k**g stupid that it had me wondering if he was just trying to avoid getting tested.
Why the f**k are you going at 40pmh on a recce ride?
Why the f**k are you taking your hands off the handlebars at 40mph?
Why the f**k are you using both hands to clear your nose when you can do it one handed?
Why the f**k would you do it on a narrow downhill stretch with walls on either side rather than waiting until you hit a flatter, easier bit of road?

Why the f**k do some cyclists think its cool to take their hands off the handlebars at all, never mind at 40mph?
They just look like knobheads.

I have to admit, while I like stuff like goal line technology and a bit of VAR when the ref is unsure, this constant VAR, with them telling the ref what they missed, is a bit sh!t, no way should France have got to re-take the penalty they missed, sure the goalkeeper moved, but its not as if that made her save it.

The very idea of VAR is fucking terrible. The way FIFA have implemented it is about as bad as it could possibly be. Combined with FIFA's ridiculous directives on things like handball and offside, it's a complete fucking travesty that's making the game massively less watchable and fun.

yeah, the amount of penalties for silly infractions is making this world cup much less fun to watch, the amount of penalties from VAR is getting simply stupid.

Yeah. It's bloody annoying when you just want to get on but someone insists on going over and over what you may or may not have done in the past.

But going back to that penalty, the Nigerian goalie moved forward a couple of feet before the French girl struck the ball, so foul. The goalie's feet have to remain on or behind the line until the ball's kicked.

The Scottish ladyballers are playing well. And a lot of them look very, very Scottish.
