Was he buggery. He's been negotiating his exit package, which will be enough for him to retire on. Football has shown its true colours again: they try to fix everything with hush money.

He'd have probably got away with it if he wasn't dodgy as f**k on other things, and if he knew how to apologise and admit he shouldn't have done it. But he compounded it by thinking and pretending it was absolutely nothing.
