This is all so silly. You all can see the acceptance and exuberance of the woman during and after the mutual "kiss enjoyed around the world". She was all happy smiles - just take a look. Of course creepy dudes ignore a woman’s word and decide she “must have” wanted it because she did want women have been socialised to do for millennia and not embarassing a man in the moment by making a fuss. Of course, she night have thoroughly enjoyed it, before remembering that she is supposed to be one of the leading icons of modern gender something...zzzzszzzz.

I agree, but this feels specifically anti-islamic and very heavy-handed, especially when you consider that pupils in French state schools don't wear uniform anyway.
I can't see any good coming from it.

Not a fan of banning clobber. Very EU. This has nothing to do with the EU, munchkin, and you know it. This is France exercising its sovereign right to enact Laws as it sees fit, independent of the EU. Seems to me that you’re still hanging on to that old lie that you fell for back in ‘16 that the UK could regain its sovereignty by leaving the EU which, of course, is demonstrably bollocks; it was never lost. If the French people see this as a means to keep church and state separated, and if they view this as a way of further emancipating Muslim women, and if they wish to make it difficult to identify a person’s religion by their dress, then so be it. Who am I and who are we to object?

Who's objecting? Not being in favour of French authoritarianism isn't the same as objecting. Pas mon cirque, pas mes singes (dans les arbres).

Just coincidence that there are many bans across the EU but not Great Britain then? I see. The authoritarian mindset still exists there.

Yet again, we stand alone against the forces of totalitarianism from the Continent.

Well, with a mother like this of course he’s pervy trash. I am waiting to see all the photos of Rubiales kissing male football players on the lips (without asking them). If there is nothing wrong with it and nothing sexist about it then there should be no issue with him doing it to the blokes too.

I now see why sexual assault of women by men is still so prevalent. Men like you insisting that “she was asking for it” without actually confirming if that’s the case beforehand….

How is a woman making rules over her own body “making rules for men to follow”? Have you hit your head? Do you think women are inanimate objects or something? What a bizarre stance.
