Could be that particular shade of orange, and his malignant narcissism corruption, anti democratic philosophy.

only cos looser boy didn't get away with it, the idiot would have very pleased had he succeeded and overthrown the elected government and been installed dictator for life, and you know Moscow Mitch and the treason caucus would have found a away to make it appear legal as well.

Not to mention evading Senate confirmations by appointing "acting" appointees who just remain in the position, insisting on a pledge of personal loyalty from the FBI director, trying to enact across the board bans on all Muslims, his constant trampling on the separation of powers, and on and on.

We know rick hates democracy, the military, and non-grifting presidents, who could have guessed he’d also be against preventing nuclear war?

Typical French FOMO. Don't think they have any interests in the area after they buckled at Dien Dien Phu.

Although it would be amusing to see French nuclear subs guaranteeing the security of Aukland Harbour.

I think your second post sort of disproves your first, mind you.

We've also stolen the Aussie submarine contract from the French. Good.

We're not actually going to let the Ockers have nuclear weapons, are we?
I didn't see if it was nuclear-armed or just nuclear powered. We'll be hiding subs under the Southern ice now. I expect we always have.

I see Canada and New Zealand have been excluded from this new cold-war venture. Quite right. One country's run by a weak, unreliable woman while the other is run by Jacinda Ardern.

The convicts subs will be nuclear powered, but won't carry nuclear missiles according to the news here.

The convicts subs will be nuclear powered, but won't carry nuclear missiles according to the news here. Yeah, almost nobody used diesel electric subs any more. They make even less sense in the vast expanses of the Indian and Pacific oceans. The huns are working on hydrogen subs. They're still big players in the U-boat market but mainly coastal jobbies.

Elder is absolutely batshit crazy. Black conservatives, the US ones seem to be able to make significant amounts of money from being batshit crazy. It’s odd.whats odd is a white person, a newsom supporter, wearing a monkey mask and throwing things at a black man gets zero media attention and is praised by the left. well, actually, it's not odd at all. I see you hold the main candidate for your party to the standards of a random madman on the street, rather than to the candidates of the other party.

So much to unpick here. But let's start with the fired marine. If someone in the military says "The people giving orders are idiots who I want to ignore", you can't trust that person to follow orders. And that's not someone you want in the military. In other jobs it's fine, in the military there's chain of command and all that stuff for a reason. Would you want a military full of people who ignored their orders? Second thing is just to remind you that Pelosi and Milley did not "plot a military coup". Absolutely insane. This is part of the US right's attempt to accuse their opponents of everything they're accused of - they do this on almost every subject, in order to try and muddy the waters. So, the US right was involved in an incoherent, badly run, insurrection - which had it succeeded would have been called a coup. Therefore they try and accuse their opponents of having a coup. Soon we'll be told that Biden is only in power because of his military coup preventing the fair application of Trump's electoral triumph...

The comparison is closer... Well, yes. That's what they have to do: "You criticise our main candidate for being an absolute fruitcake, but what about that rapid squirrel over there that's been bathing in lead and mercury? Huh? You don't criticise the squirrel yet the squirrel makes as little sense as the person who almost won the governorship in California and who almost every Republican voted for! Think on!!!"
