And there we have it, its not about going or not its about who's not going, and how scared this apparently makes them. I mean only the far right are this narcissistic to think protecting the health of the nations legislators, and the whole team of people that comes with them is somehow 'chickenshit'. There's a reason the US has killed more of its citizens in 3 months than in all post Korean War conflicts put together and jim nicely encapsulates it on in a few dumb ass sentences.
Also this is the US gov, surely they have the tech to secure their communications and votes.

They can vote securely from home. All votes are on the record, so everyone can check whether it's been hacked.
You did see what happened in Pennsylvania, right?

Good point, Voice. Apparently they're chickenshits unless they want to infect themselves, their colleagues, their staff, all the support staff, all the cleaners and security and IT and maintenance people, all the people who work in the hotels they stay at in DC, all the people who are on the planes, all the people providing food them, and so on.
Real Men Would Let These People Get Covid! Non-pussies would overwhelm the healthcare system because they have the guts to catch this disease.

Comparatively good news on today's US unemployment figures. Unemployment dropped rather than rose which seems like a big surprise. The people putting the stats together suggest that there's undercounting going on because a lot of people are "furloughed" rather than sacked at the moment, but however true that is it was true last month, too, so the employment numbers turned around quickly. It could be that we have that V-shaped recession, which would be great for Trump's election chances. I think the odds are still that it will linger a while, but Trump has to be happy today.

the dems criticized Trump for closing the country, criticized Trump for reopening the country, where he could, and while much of the country (dem run) is still closed the country is coming back, who would you credit,,,, Biden?

Well lets unpack this for a second. He didnt close the country, in fact did everything to stop any close down, I know you cultists have been banging on about his so called travel ban to China, a ban so effective in 3 months 40000 still flew from china to the US many directly from Wuhan. He has not opened a thing, it's not within his power that's up to the governors and if you look at the red states who were willing to sacrifice their citizens in order to open up their dtates infection and death rates are looking like a drawing of the ascent of the Matahorn

Trump was criticised for inconsistently closing the borders in some instances while leaving them open for infected US residents, and taking no other responsibility at all. Literally the only thing he could think of was to stop foreigners. That was the maximum capacity of his brain and his actions. He didn't shut the country at all - that was left entirely to the states. He's trying to claim credit for reopening the thing he didn't shut (and, all the evidence suggests that outside of perhaps the North East it's reopening too fast. Even in California, our infection rate keeps rising).

Trump couldn't close the states, he did encourage states to close, which they mostly did, it is still up to the states when/if to open, many/most states that reopened are not having any major problems, I do agree that he should have had more travel restrictions,

Georgia voters immediately encountered hours-long lines and equipment malfunctions as they showed up to vote in person in the state’s primary races on Tuesday. Today is the latest high-stakes test of whether a state can hold an election during the Covid-19 pandemic. Tuesday also marked the first time Georgia was using new voting equipment, and voters reported malfunctions on Tuesday morning. The Atlanta mayor, Keisha Lance Bottoms, tweeted that at some precincts no machines were working. www.theguardian.com/us-news/2020/jun/09/georgia-election-primary-long-lines-broken-voting-machinesGOP having a dress rehearsal for the general election.

Saw a report last night, most of the inner city and black areas people waited hours and hours to get to vote, but in the white areas and the burbs no wait at all, the contrast was amazing, loads of polls in the white areas, few and hard to get ones in the poor and black areas. As you say they are practicing for November as their only hope is voter suppression and outright cheeting

Well it's not as this is the first time they've trying these tactics out, the GOP has been at it for decades, and since they gutted the voter rights act are ramping up. They know the only chance they have is to stop dems voting.

if you are going to cheat on election why show it in primary when there is nothing to gain, Because if you can get away with it why not do it both times?
