Interetingly, its now fact it was rascist because it's reached the threshold of repetition that makes it fact: www.bbc.co.uk/sport/formula1/57885011Lewis Hamilton racially abused online after British Grand Prix win: The incident comes a week after England footballers Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho and Bukayo Saka were targeted with racist abuse on social media after they all missed a penalty in the Three Lions' Euro 2020 final shootout defeat against Italy. A mural honouring Manchester United striker Rashford was also defaced, though it was repaired the next day and later covered with hundreds of messages of support.so there we have it. It will forever be quoted as an example of racism.

Walking on anything in proper bike shoes* is a pain in the arse. I imagine walking up a scree slope in them is an absolute nightmare, even if you aren't stunned from falling off the edge of a mountain. * This is why I ride in mountain bike shoes even on my road bike, despite the derision that I get from people like Ming To be fair, I'm not bothered what people wear. I've been overtaken by a bloke in wellies. Sooner that than silly c*nts in Rapha kit with their bellies resting on the crossbar. As my freind is prone to say when you go past someone pushing a superlightweight bike up a hill; "expensive walking stick, mate" We were going up a climb in the alps and we went past a group in full sky team kit. he looked at them and said. "it's funny, you look faster on the telly" i use speedplay zero's with walkable cleats road.cc/content/review/208709-speedplay-zero-aero-walkable-cleatsbut that's mainly for the float and my dodgy knees. You still wouldn't want to go ballroom dancing in them.

I twice trashed my Speedplay walkable cleats by walking in them, which is why I reverted to MTB SPDs.

I went out for a run yesterday. I was going up this hill, almost at the top when this bloke comes walking up behind me. We were level for a couple of strides so I said, "That's embarrassing. I'll go faster". So I did. To be fair to myself I think I'd just settled into an unthinking plod, not being used to hills and I did have the pace to outrun him.
Also, this one time on my bike, some bloke passed me doing a wheelie up a hill.

that's quite good. We used to try sprinting up behind people on a hill and then go past freewheeling and eating a banana.
One bloke I knew chased down somebody on a climb, went passed them and realised he couldn't keep the pace up. rather than let him back past he went round the next hairpin and hid in the bushes.

It is also the correct behaviour. Never overtake someone and them have them overtake you (obviously this doesn't apply in a group ride where you alternate who takes the headwind).

We used to fix lolly sticks to the rear forks of our bikes so they made a racket on the spokes. Then we moved on to Claud Butler bikes and hung about on street corners.

You need a spokesman. They come as an extra.

They always start football early, otherwise they don't have time to fit in all the games. Baseball and softball also start early.

So what you're saying is sports that take a long time have to start earlier to fit them in?

Yes. When they introduce test cricket to the games for Brisbane 2032, they're going to have to start the matches 3 months earlier.

Perhaps Sir Richard Branson's space-uber is timely after all and not a ridiculous 1960s throwback.
