Amazing to watch people destroying public property without any concern that they'll be identified and prosecuted.

Labour will probably give them presents.

Labour's lawlessness.

Labour's gutlessness. They are reporting that there were "no injuries" as if that's a good outcome and, of itself, a good objective achieved.

Nope even adjusting for inflation they are worse off now on the specific topic of housing. . What does this nonsense even mean? They have massively more income but because housing has risen above inflation their relative spending on housing is more? True, but people also have much more non-housing income because general wealth has outpaced inflation for, basically, all eternity. Your point does not counter mine. It’s just bizarre. It means that they are worse off now as far as the topic of housing is concerned. Seems simple enough to understand.

Amazing to watch people destroying public property without any concern that they'll be identified and prosecuted. Has there never been a riot in UK history before then?

Oh I see Farage has gone off half-cocked again.
Or maybe his geography is genuinely that bad?

This man seems intensely relaxed about being filmed setting fire to a bus. Maybe he's confident he'll get off with it?

“ And a Tory MP this morning warned the flashpoint was sparked by a 'complete lack of respect' for law enforcement.
'Unfortunately this seems to be a narrative that has been developing over a number of years where there has been complete disregard, complete disrespect to the law enforcers,' Robbie Moore, the MP for the nearby constituency of Keighley and Ilkley, told GB News today.”
LOL!!!
I wonder why that “disrespect for law enforcers” has arisen…..
But on a side note hopefully those stupid enough to set fire to buses and have their faces all over the news can be easily found and given long custodial sentences.

Labour's Leeds riot seems to have started because social workers took a kid into care from an immigrant Roma family and the family objected.

Odd that you think the opinion of an obscure MP is more important than the actual immigrant riot.

I haven't seen any sign of IT problems. Laptop works, phone works, banking app seems to work, telly works.

Good. Hahahahahaha. Good. "The co-founder of Extinction Rebellion has been given a record five-year prison sentence after a judge said he had “crossed the line from concerned campaigner to fanatic”. Roger Hallam was found guilty of conspiring to block traffic as part of a Just Stop Oil campaign on the M25 over four days of disruption in November 2022. The Attorney General was under pressure on Thursday night to intervene over the sentences meted out to Mr Hallam, who also set up Just Stop Oil, and his co-conspirators, which are the longest for non-violent protest in living memory. Four other eco-activists were each given four-year sentences after they were found guilty of conspiring to block traffic on the M25." www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2024/07/18/extinction-rebellion-founder-jailed-for-five-years/

“Conspiring to block traffic” doesn’t feel like something that needs a 5 year sentence when the average for rape is less than that.

Meanwhile, the Skynet takeover is kind of funny because it seems to have ignored almost everyone. But it has hit lots of huge and high profile organisations. News General remains up while half the world’s airlines were down.

Seven teachers on that coach. Seven. There was only ever one on any coach party at my school, but we had BRM - behaviour, respect and manners. That, and the masters were allowed to beat you.
