I reckon that might be a good thing. It'll make those after Trump's hide more focused on his real mis-deeds, tax avoidance and other chicanery.

Selling arms to a unstable part of the world is in no way helping to even try to make it stable. Of course it is. Arms and armies are the ultimate guarantor of stability. I'm not saying it's always a good thing and we've often used kit, training and intelligence to shore up some pretty shabby regimes, but there it is. How come I'm always right and you're always wrong? Hehehe

I'm no special fan of the Saudis but I wonder why support of them in Yemen is seen as a necessarily bad thing? Have we suddenly developed a love of medieval Shia backed by Iran over medieval Sunnis? The way you characterise it explains why we shouldn’t be taking sides and encouraging either of them.

Trump impeachment: Insurrection incitement charge a 'monstrous lie'.... So Trump cleared after time wasting political show trial . Back to Covid for the USA Trump will not be “cleared”. A clear majority of Senators will vote for conviction. And many of the remaining senators are hiding behind the logical fallacy figleaf that Presidents can’t be impeached for what they do in the last few weeks of their presidency. It’s also not particularly time-wasting. Because if you don’t put something like this on record then history will ask what the f**k you were thinking. Finally, as was noted elsewhere: If I commit a crime in future I would also like a large chunk of the jury to be made up of people who encouraged and enabled that crime.

You think tax avoidance is more serious than trying to overturn an election and inciting an insurrection that resulted in 5 dead including the police? You’re probably one of those people who would have thought Al Capone’s real crime was tax dodging.

Is that only true for Americans or does everyone have to give weapons to one side or another in every conflict?

You think tax avoidance is more serious than trying to overturn an election and inciting an insurrection that resulted in 5 dead including the police? You’re probably one of those people who would have thought Al Capone’s real crime was tax dodging. He disputed an election result and cheered on his more violent supporters. The dead were as a result of the mob's actions. So his guilt? At best debatable. He needed to have planned it and there to have been proof of his having planned it. There wasn't any proof.
Al Capone? No worse than any other gangster/politician. It was tax charges that finally got him behind bars. So forget the idealism and go for the jugular. Ironically he was very similar to trump. Much of the public loved him.

The dibble who had his head smashed in with a fire extinguisher by Trumps violent seditionusts was the 5th to die during his attempt to be installed as dictator.

Funny that Uncle's link makes no mention of this heart attack but does say the officer died from injuries sustained in attacks from the people Trump told to and fight and try and reverse the election result.
There's some serious straw-clutching going on by the desperate.

Does Biden still grope children? I think that the POTUS has people to do that for him now. Some sort of blind groping account, as I understand it.

The toll on dibble was high now the full facts are coming out, UJs desperate attempts to minimize the actions of the seditionists is simply pathetic. One wonders at his reaction if Trumps bully boys had managed to lynch Mike Pence and members of congress then carry out Trumps plan to be installed as dictator after having lost an election by a land slide. Cheering it all on no doubt, same as Rick, and making lame arsed excuses as to why democracy has to be put aside to keep the far right in power. A massive majority voted to convict, including a bunch of very right-wing Republican Senators like Burr, Cassidy and Sasse, alongside the guy they all voted for for President in 2012.
