but, same as before its simply not happening, least not in the way the ant-trans lot are claiming it does, still unsure why this is the obsession of the moment, a couple of years ago it was bathrooms, next year it will something else, its the way these culture wars go I suppose.

I'm not sure its true the voting public are single issue on this, but there is a very vocal minority who are and they are the tail wagging the present GOP dog. When polled this is a very minor issue, the majority of voters want better healthcare, better education and so on, but the GOP is no longer a political party and so doesn't do policy anymore
plus when the voters only have a binary choice they'd rather vote against the dems in these red states despite the reps being uninterested in getting substantive issues dealt with, politics is tribal after all

I think it's different manifestations of the same issue: male athletes don't stop being male athletes just because they say so. Same with convicts.

strewth, its like talking to an especially slow child, its simply not the case that failing male athletes are saying they are trans simply to get sports medals in women's sports. Sure you get the odd trans girl who takes all the hormones and such that also wants to play sport, but really the idea a boy does this simply to join a sports team so they can taste success they could not achieve as a boy is risible.

Metrics of what exactly, as its not really a thing, how you even to gain metrics on something that's not really a thing. Really, is that all you have, a shifting the burden of proof fallacy, knowing you can't prove a negative. What is it with you trans obsessives you have to worry about all this stuff that's not really happening?

Decades of trans women being allowed to compete by the NCAA yet only in the last two years has anyone complained. And they’ve complained about the hypothetical because they’ve not found women’s sport being damaged or armies of underperforming cis athletes transitioning in order to win bronze medals against cis women. Show me the damage. |

It's about how male or female is defined. Every time we drift back to this. The logical view is that if a person has male genitals it's a male; if a person has female genital it's a female. You can argue otherwise until you're blue in the face, along with voice and van, but I'm sticking to the science. |

Odd isn't it that if someone who looks like a male Congo silverback with a large cock and a pair of balls the size of coconuts decides he's female he'll be accepted as such and allowed into female-only establishments? Even odder that some apparently intelligent people defend this.
