With both Labour and the SNP polling around 34% each at the moment, it'll be interesting to see how this pans out.

If this brings about an improvement in Labour's position in Scotland, then Sunak may as well start now in getting quotes for furniture removal.

I think it would suit Humza and the wider SNP to pack it in now. They're a bust flush and I'm sure many of the uncomfortable issues, which are now pressuring them, would magically go away if they were no longer in the hot seat.

Good news.

You can't go round alienating (sometimes even insulting) your friends & allies and then expect a positive outcome. The UK as a whole has known this for a good few years now.

I s'pose the one and only good thing to say about his tenure as Scottish FM is that he lasted longer than Liz Truss. That said, I suspect only the mayfly has a shorter lifespan than Truss (although likely a better grasp of economics for a' that).
