Was great seeing the people all throughout London travelling to Wembley for the match (they were draped in England flags so I assume that’s where they were headed).
Well done The Lionesses for actually bringing football home!
Will there be a parade?

Good to see Germany letting someone else win the trophy for a change.
Well done England. Silverware at last.

I missed the game as expected. So I’ve still never seen England win a major championships. I consider it to be that my sacrifice - clearing out my dead MiL’s medications and so on - is what won us the match.

Anyway, well done to England’s Ladyfooters. Better than any of the men for 60 years.

Hard to be too celebratory if you can't define what a woman is, I imagine.

Celebration in Trfalgar Square today. Quite right too.
They've done us proud.

I think they would (men and women) do us prouder if they could, perhaps, curb their language.
The commentator apologised for one incident yesterday when a Lioness clearly called a dirty, fouling Huness a f**k**g prick. You really didn't need to be a lipreader.
One of the goalscorers celebrated with a string of salt language. I'm no prude, but this is a horrible way to behave in public. They must know that, and that they continue to do it smacks of a particular sort of entitlement. Men and women here.

I noticed one of the Lionesses gobbing on the pitch.

Funnily enough, I sort of understand that in sport. It's unpleasant and entirely avoidable, but it's sort of natural when you get a dry mouth.
It sets a bad example mind, especially during a pandemic, and one which is copied by chavvy teenagers up and down the country as they walk down the street.

Oh yeah I do it when I'm running. It has been a bit of a bugbear amongst certain types when slagging off men's football though.

Our Lefty brothers have not always been so enamoured about our Sporting successes….
