“ A Reform UK candidate has apologised for claiming the country would be "far better" if it had "taken Hitler up on his offer of neutrality" instead of fighting the Nazis in World War Two. Ian Gribbin, the party's candidate in Bexhill and Battle, also wrote online that women were the "sponging gender" and should be "deprived of health care". In posts from 2022 on the Unherd magazine website, seen by the BBC, he said Winston Churchill was "abysmal" and praised Russian President Vladimir Putin. Initially Mr Gribbin declined to comment, but later said: “I apologise for these old comments and withdraw them unreservedly and the upset that they have caused.”
Misogyny and racism.
Potent bedfellows.
Which means he is likely a raging homophobe to get the full conservative trinity of arseholeness.
“ The previous month he criticised women, writing on the site’s message board: "Do you think you could actually work and pay for it all too like good citizens? "Men pay 80% of tax – women spend 80% of tax revenue. On aggregate as a group you only take from society. "Less complaining please from the 'sponging gender'." He added that women are "subsidised by men to merely breath (sic)". In January 2022 he posted: "Men pay 80% of tax. Women take out 80% of expenditures.”
Sigh….who’s going to tell him….

LOL!
“ The BBC is aware of at least 16 former potential parliamentary candidates for Reform who are no longer standing because of inappropriate or offensive comments. This compares to eight for the Green Party, five for Labour, three for the Conservatives, two for the Liberal Democrats and one for the Workers Party of Britain.”

Oh dear .... www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c1rrzp1qwp1o‘Protests’ terrorism or just old fashioned antisemitic behaviour..? Getting very close to ‘terrorism’ but you’d hardly know from the very neutral BBC report that has no hint of condemnation and isn’t bursting with the moral outrage that you’d get if it were a Right wing group doing something similar or God forbid a certain Tommy-Robinson-Yaxley-Lennon were involved in any way

Do you know what “terrorism” means? And the only anti-semitism is your own which conflates Israel and banking with Jewish people. Do better. Why would the BBC news be condemning this? It’s a news organisation not an opinion provider. You need help with you BBCDS.

The Greens have released their manifesto:
"The Green Party is launching its manifesto with plans to boost health and social care spending by £50bn a year The party would raise National Insurance to 8% on people earning over £50,270 They would also introduce a 1% wealth tax on assets over £10m, and 2% on over £1bn"
So, more money for the national wealth pit, and extra taxes to pay for it. Hmmmm .... I'm afraid it's a hard "no" from me.

Maybe, but it certainly hasn't dented Labour's standing.
Labour on 44% and rising, Con on 21% and falling, Reform on 15% courtesy of the "Nige Is A Victim Of McShake-based Terrorism" brigade.

Labour Manifesto so far.
"Labour are launching their manifesto for the 4 July general election, focusing on economic growth
Keir Starmer has said there will be "no surprises" on tax, as he seeks to defuse Tory claims that his party would put them up
Before Labour, Plaid Cymru launched its manifesto, with a focus on "fairer" funding for Wales"
Manifestly shire. "No surprises" indeed. More sophistry, Of course nobody will be in the least bit surprised when taxes are ramped into the stratosphere. Mark my words: that will be their line next year.
Oh and TaffLab are after more English money. Well, colour me ....

Here's fun: Labour donor. Ineresting biog on Wiki. Self-serving horseshit, of course.. "One of Labour‘s biggest donors has urged Keir Starmer to endorse i’s manifesto to Save Britain’s Rivers as he warned the party needed a stronger message on fixing the crisis. Green energy tycoon Dale Vince called on the party to back the “simple, strong” blueprint for rescuing Britain’s waterways and stop them from “being polluted for the sake of money”. He urged Labour to clampdown on water firms if it wins power in the general election next month, saying the health of our rivers, lakes and seas are “one of the most important things”." inews.co.uk/news/labour-donor-dale-vince-back-save-britains-rivers-3106215#:~:text=Mr%20Vince%2C%20who%20has%20donated,we%20need%2C%E2%80%9D%20he%20said.
