Which would be more horrific, having a Labour MP or having a Lib Dem MP? I've got a Tory MP with a smallish majority and I think the Lib Dems aren't far behind. I might end up with a Lib Dem MP!

I saw that. It was funny. I quite liked it but the comments were full of people saying they like her but cannot vote labour because they support genocide.

I thought it was racist and oozed stay-in-your-lane blackness.

Stay-in-your-chains blackness, more like. That's what socialism is about.

There’s a bunch of polls out recently that seem to show Labour support weakening - down around 40% now. And Refuk level or ahead of the Tories. Meanwhile the Limps are rising slowly to mid-teens. There’s a possibility that the Tories will be 4th highest vote and 3rd biggest party if Richie keeps this up. It is properly hilarious. Also horrific that Labour could lose by 20% or more and still have 75% of the seats.

I thought “Refuk” was a typo

I thought it was racist and oozed stay-in-your-lane blackness. A jokey election video where she riffs on the “21 days to go” till the election to the “21 seconds to go” song? What on earth does that have to do with race. You and the Bear need clinical intervention at this point.

As we on the far, extreme, rational centre have been saying all along. "In Volume 18, issue 3 of Barn Theatre News, printed in August 2014, Rod Starmer wrote about his son. He said that before university Keir took a year off: “The next 6 months were spent in my factory operating a production machine…DEAD BORING…..Keir!! At Leeds, Keir obtained a first in Law, LLB and a Scholarship to Oxford for a second degree, BCL.” order-order.com/2024/06/14/starmers-father-admitted-he-was-the-owner-of-toolmaking-factory/

Pretty much everyone thinks he's boring.
Something we can reach consensus on.

I think Labour will win this election but:
is there a scenario where those on the right who want to vote Reform realise that they won't win and in a desperate attempt to stop a Labour government all vote Tory?

No, because they're nuts.

Even in the unlikely scenario that Hammer is wrong and they are functionally rational humans, I still think it’s unlikely. Because then they would know that there’s no chance of not having a Labour majority this time so why not vote with your heart rather than tactically?

I think we rational centrists are resigned to a far, extreme left Labour government but also realise that they'll be so appalling that they'll only last one term. The only unanswerable question is how much left-wing damage they'll do before they get kicked out. Although saying that, one of the first things they'll do is allow children to vote, knowing that children will be more likely to vote for their childish left wing policies.

Why is Nigel Farage going to stand?
Because he won't get a seat.

No matter how distasteful I sometimes find the Labour Party - they will always have the fact that Aneurin Bevan fought to bring in the National Health Service.
They will always have that.
Always.

Farage just likes loosing his deposit, I think he's going for some kind of biggest looser record. FFS even Galoway, tw@t that he is, has won elections
