How about bollocks. The turnout for the Brexit referendum was 72.2%.
Also, there's a huge difference when the matter was put to the public as a single issue, specifically to get that mandate.

Reform's supposed vote collapsed from polling in the 20s down to 14%. The forecast 14 seats turned out to be a pitiful 4 seats. There's no way they'll be considered anything other than a comedy sideshow. They are not a serious alternative on the right as we were told they were going to be.

The Lib Dems got 12% of the vote. 12%. In their favoured PR system they were beaten into fourth place by three completely farcical parties in the process of melting down. This was their one chance to become the official opposition and they blew it.
