Obama is the son of a Kenyan. Not an 'African American' at all, since the term 'African American' refers to the descendants of black slaves.

He's not an immigrant, because constitutionally, immigrants are not eligible for the office of President. You have to be a "natural born citizen".

a lot of god, aretha franklin had a large moth on her head and a frog in her throat, the classical interlude was delightful, but when the canons went off - i wasn't sure if one of our tanks had gotton lost on the way back from gaza......

was thinking the same thing....and it was her own poetry - shame on her -
2 christian prayers, a touch of 'colourful' ditties, lots of patriotism, a decent speech.....when's the party ? i think amadou and mariam are performing...

Jes been watching all them there colored folk a-slapping their thighs n shufflin' their feet behind Obama in time to dear ol' Aretha.
What is the world coming to? When I was a kid in Peckham I remember them saying 'mark my words, they're going to take over' and I wondered what they were talking about.
