Is that the Hawaii that is a state of the US, making Obama Not An Immigrant? Ok. So when does being an immigrant stop? With the first, second, third generation or what?

A lot of the original Hawaiians don't think they're US citizens. Does being sequestered by a hostile country automatically make the citzens of that sequestered country a citizen of the hostile country? Maoris and Australian abos don't think so.

I would say being an immigrant necessitates you having moved to the country in which you now dwell. So if you were born there you are ruled out of immie status.

Have I said how much I hate the BBC? Well I do. Yes indeed. I'm glad I have a job, and didn't have to watch this non-stop rubbish.

Here in France I have to watch other news before they foist this ordure on us. Things like rugby and the current fungi situation in the Massif Central. Unimportant stuff like the inauguration of the US president gets a mention later, but I put on something stimulating like Alias instead. Only joking.

yes, he kinda fluffed the oath....when they said swearing in i thought they were going to ask him whether he wanted the f**king job or not Technically it wasn't his fault. I watched the whole thing on ABC. John Roberts got the position of the word "faithfully" wrong, and Obama became confused as to what he should say (the correct version or Roberts' version). I can't believe they fluffed up on such an important occasion. The Oath of Office is written into the Constitution (one of a handful of fine details that actually appear in the Constitution), and it's not that hard to remember. I've seen video clips of all the swearing ins since the introduction of television (you can view them at the Smithsonian Museum in Washington) and this is the first time they screwed up.

He seems to be very popular with Black Americans. In all the TV I've seen so far its predominatly Black people who are seen cheering.
"He's an inspiration to Black peole" is a quote I've heard several times.
Is he as popular with White America?

You are clearly a nutcase through and through, but then again, what would we expect from a contemptible fool.

Is he as popular with White America? Considering that around 50% of white people voted for him, and his current approval rating (nationally) is about 70%, I'll say, yes.

Incidentally, watched a TV programme on white power in the US last night and it is hugely on the rise. Burning crosses etc. Be civil war soon wouldn't surprise me.
