Maybe. Holocaust Memorial Day is this Tuesday 27th. Here is a link to the sometimes forgotten victioms, the Roma (Romany/Romish/gypsies) news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/europe/7844797.stmWe should never forget the Holocaust, the insane mass murder of European jewry and other victims like the above.

We must never forget, and please God this never ever happens again! The frightening thing is that this genocide actually happened not that long ago. Remember on the 27th - Tuesday!

Everywhere where one people are attempting to eliminate another people is a potential Holocaust. The terrible thing is that some of the worst attrocities happen within the borders of counties and don't need an outside force to drive them. There seem to be few limits on man's inhumanity to his fellow man.

I'm sorry if I seem insensitive.
The point of having such a day set aside like this is to remember the mass murders and to resolve they must never be repeated.
But the reality is this is just another day of Jew-Pity.
Another day when we are forced, once again, to remember the Jews who were murdered. Oh, and a few other irrelevants.
Not anyone else. Not to learn from it. Not to resolve never to let it happen again.
Just another feel sorry for Jews day and let the Nazi Zionists off the hook once again.
The same Nazi Zionists who are running the largest concentration camp in history.
The same Nazi Zionists who are repeatedly involved in mass murder of non-Jews.
The same Nazi Zionists whose supporters, without criticism from those Nazi Zionists call for mass killing of Palestinians.
Whose supporters accuse the British of complicity.
The day is a farce simply because we have never, not even once, made any effort to even try to achieve the prime objective, that is to learn from the murders of WW2.
The hatred still exists. The hatred is respectable. The mass murders are still happening.
But now the Nazi is calling himself a Jew.
So, at least now, he's telling the truth.

Tarant I am like minded with you on the injustices happening to the people of Palestine but cannot for a minute give one word of support to your post above.
The Holocaust happened it was genocide against the Jews and others. It was mass murder on a previously unimaginable scale perpetrated by mental defectives like Hitler, Himmler, Goering and Heydrich - but supported in its practical operation by submissive civil servants, industrialists and railway managers - seemingly normal people - but people who did not stand up and say NO.
The holocaust and the situation in Palestine today are entirely separate matters - though there are some who don't want it seen that way.
Holocaust denial is not in my dictionary.

Oh, and a few other irrelevants.
Included in that list then would be Slavs, Poles, Russian POW's, Romanies, homosexuals, disabled/mentally ill patients, political activists, religious personnel, playwrights and academics.
That's exactly the sort of language that brought about the Holocaust.
You clown.

Captain.
I accept ever point you made.
I too have studied several aspects of that period, including the effect of the transportations and murders of so many people.
The figures and many details have still not been released of course, but we use a notional figure of 15 million people murdered. (Though some put the figure at 30 million. The Zionists originally accepted this higher figure tehn reverted to 15 million and often 12 million, once they settled, in 1979, on the 6 million figure for murdered Jews).
However, we are not discussing this point of history.
We are discussing Holocaust Memorial Day.
If HMD was being used for its designated purpose, to remember those that were murdered and resolve that it must never happen again, then HMD might have a point.
But, HDA is just another point when Nazi Zionists dismiss any criticism by waving the Holocaust banner in our faces.
We haven't learnt anything at all.

Looks like the Israelis have taken a break from shooting Arab children to celebrate their holocaust.

The Jews and the Nazis are/were only apprentices, compared with Stalin - estimated to have killed around one hundred and ninteen million people. www.hawaii.edu/powerkills/NOTE4.HTM

The real difference though the Nazis set out to destroy a whole set of peoles in an industrialised fashion and in a mear 3 and a half years killed 6 million Jews, 3 million Poles and another million or so gays, Gypsies and 20 million Russians, where as the Soviets killed more from incompitence than anything else, in such stupidities as collectiviasation and such, actual deaths from Gulags under stalin was no where near the aburd figure you quote.

You imply this 20 million were killed in camps by the Germans. No authorative historian has ever quoted a figure anywhere near that. A physical impossibility. Estimates of Soviet POW deaths in German captivity are around 3 - 5 million, terrible and inhumane treatment by the Wermacht caused these deaths or effective mass murder to be more accurate. Actual total Soviet war deaths - which is estimated to be around 20 - 25 million - is another matter and it is thought may have hidden some 'Stalin' casualties within their figure.

Jesus Voice - Invest in a spell-checker! Spin it how you like. The fact is, that Stalin killed off all but 120 million people. I have travelled down the Neva river, along the canals where people died like flies and were buried where they fell. All that doesnt detract from the Nazis puny efforts of course, but they were merely learners of the craft!

It would be an excellent idea if the day became a commemoration of all who have died in numbers, anywhere in the world, as a result of discrimination.

Pope Removes Ban on British Holocaust Denier Bishop by David Shammah (IsraelNN.com) In a move that many Jewish community officials said would cause relations between Jews and Catholics to further deteriorate, the Vatican on Saturday lifted an excommunication ban against Bishop Richard Williamson, one of four bishops who were banned in 1988 for taking on the office of bishop against the wishes of then-Pope John Paul II. Williamson is a Holocaust denier, and has repeatedly said that the gas chambers did not exist and that no more than 300,000 Jews were killed during World War II, mostly of starvation. In addition, Williamson has declared that the Jews are plotting to take over the world, and that the U.S. and Israel were behind 9/11. In an interview with Swedish television conducted last November but broadcast last week, Williamson said that he believed that there were “no gas chambers." “Between 200,000-300,000 perished in Nazi concentration camps, but not one of them by gassing in a gas chamber,” he said, adding, “I believe that the historical evidence is hugely against 6 million having been deliberately gassed in gas chambers as a deliberate policy of Adolf Hitler.” www.israelnationalnews.com/News/News.aspx/129591Geez, Herr Ratziner would want to be careful, the Israeli's are a little touchy at the moment.
