Yord lol
'That isn't the point here, he isn't seeing things differently. He is viewing things in perspective and distance as they normally appear to a sighted person. I reiterate he is using the part of his brain that scientists have concluded previously could only be used by sighted people.'
Well actually M that isn't quite true and the 'blindsight' I was talking about is probably the opposite to your example. Eyes don't see, they transmit information to the brain. The image the brain gets from the eyes are actually all upside down, the brain deciphers that information and then deals with it. You can have a set of perfect eyes, but if the area of the brain has been damaged that deals with sight, you won't be able to see. Such as in stroke patients, my mum can't see now out of her left eye, not because there is anything wrong with her eye, but because of brain damage. The blindsight I was talking about is when brain damaged patients that have reported that they can no longer see, put on experimental trials, can actually predict colours, shapes, objects etc. Their eyes can't see, nor can there brains percept vision, they are brain dead as well as eye dead. I'll try to post you a link.
N E Way get my drift now? Up against a wall indeed! Hmmmmmm

Jeniffer is lying on the town hall roof a hand shading her eyes some f**k off king beside her who listens to the cripples cries theres another one up there but he dosnt play a part just keeps Jen company, a gift from a sculptors heart. I should have waited for Vicky took a walk , got sand between the toes shes got a smile like lightning and I dont think she knows and blessed is the blue eyed boy who knows theres no defence against her red painted nails and the laugh of innocence. Berts off out again I missed the ride slipped by ticking minutes an endless flowing tide He says its the only way that he gets to feel free Its not hard to agree with him, ten miles out at sea. Reading talk of blind mans pictures Psychology of the fools and who would be among them to imply its the brain that rules when visions that fall like blossom into new grass as green a spring where it only takes a remembered touch to make the heart sing. and I need to get back home again where ever that may be thirty dreams from Santa Martha on a beach beside the sea walking down stanhope road it becomes so very clear broke drains and rotting window frames,I hope it isnt here.

Well yes I quite agree. I don't understand Physics or Chemistry and to be quite truthful I don't really want to understand it, because either way, I would never get it anyway. Do you think Feral that was his point?

M No! lol's 'Pinx, the guy has no eyes to transmit any information to the brain in the first place' Agreed. But the area of his brain that would normally interpret visual information isn't damaged? Yeah? So he is different than people that have lost their sight.

Due to brain damage. The part of his brain that percepts information has never been damaged.

the only thing that is extraordinary and exceptional is the way that you percieve these things and they are neither extraordinary or exceptional only personal to yourself and those that you can convince or those that convince you that theyre extraordinary and exceptional etc. Your perception of things should never be trusted and certainly never relied on

"My perception of things are not neccassarily personal to myself though. "
then your perception is mundane and nothing extraordinary or exceptional otherwise you know the difference between a blade of grass and a blind mans paintings

Of course I'm extraordinary and exceptional that wasn't my point, I meant that we perceive things in ways that have been taught to us, by our social surroundings as well as ourself, so therefore ones perception isn't neccassarily personal is it?

no , your perceptions are totaly personal , you have no other way of knowing and you also have no way of knowing if what you percieve is true or even correct

Oh I think it is .You are never influenced by just one single thing or person, so your perception ,no matter how much it has been influenced, will differ ,slightly at least, to the next persons.
