And the Palace also secured an exemption from race equality laws.

Good. Even more proof of their non-racism.

Also, nobody has ever explained why this is a problem.

Why don't these selfish c unts donate their blood and organs? Just, you know, do it. Of course, it seems that it's our fault because, according to the Guardian, these Bamers are too dumb and uneducated to know that blood and organ donation is a thing. "While there are more donors than in previous years, the all-party parliamentary group (APPG) for ethnicity transplantation and transfusion’s inquiry report says just 0.1% of blood donors, 0.5% of stem cell donors and less than 5% of organ donors are of minority ethnic or mixed background. As a result, white people are nearly twice as likely to find a stem cell donor and 20% more likely to find a kidney donor. The chances of finding a well-matched stem cell donor are 72% for white patients and just 37% for BAME people, the MPs found. One year after being listed for a kidney transplant, 81% of minority ethnic and mixed-heritage patients will still be waiting for a new kidney, compared with 65% of white patients. Black people are also 10 times more likely than white people to need type Ro blood, of which there are more limited supplies." www.theguardian.com/society/2023/dec/04/uk-minority-ethnic-transplant-patients-face-double-inequity-mps-say#:~:text=An%20inquiry%20into%20organ%20donation,to%20find%20the%20right%20blood%2C

Anyway I would think this would make a racist like you happy - the detrimental impact is restricted to people from ethnic minority groups. Anyway I am a proud blood donor* (especially proud as I have an rare subtype) although had to take a 10 year break due to Australia treating British blood like it was raw sewage (thankfully now changed). I should say is it needs to become normalised in many communities. I am a rarity among people I know who donate blood regularly for example, and especially rare among the non-white people I know. When I mention it to people it’s like it never even occurred to them or was something they never thought about / were not aware of. I still have not managed to convince anybody to donate / register as a donor but I shall continue with my efforts (also I know a fair few religious-y people which may impact that.) *I should say ‘was’ - for some reason my iron levels refuse to behave themselves now.

This is a great statistic though. May the Gammons seethe!
“With one in five of the UK population now mixed heritage and ethnic minority, rising to one in three of school-age children, this has to change,” she said.”

“The impact of families’ right to overturn donors’ wishes under 2019 legislation on the number of mixed heritage and ethnic minority donations should also be examined.”
How does this still apply given that the UK moved to an “opt-out” scheme?

I have been giving blood since about 1985. I am also a registered tissue donor and I am happy for people to help themselves to my kebab in the event of my death.

Couldn't give blood here for ages cos, same as the US Auz and most other places, they saw British blood as tainted, they changed that a couple years back.

Yep I believe Australia rolled their rules back last year. I think the USA still has the ban in place or did last time the topic came up when discussing with a Yank friend (admittedly a while ago.)

yeah, they relaxed the rules about animals being fed the dead and diseased carcasses' from the same flock/heard and this lead to Mad Cow disease in cattle and an increased risk of Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease in humans. Well remembered.

But anyway, back to the racist tendencies of the communities who don't want to give blood or donate.

But anyway, back to the racist tendencies of the communities who don't want to give blood or donate. Not giving blood is “racist”? Mids you only have a handful of brain cells you cannot afford to lose anymore.

Maybe the answer is to assure them that their donations will only go to their "own" "community"? Not that I agree with such woke sh*t but that sort of segregation is all the rage with the left. Black blood for black veins, as blm might say.
