The only people to blame for her kid's death is the Islamic turd who blew himself up and his mates.
If an operational mistake was made, it was a mistake. That happens. It doesn't mean they're to blame.
There's something profoundly wrong with the mentality of some people that they blame the people who are doing their best (and doing it bloody well) in the face of an unprecedented, irrational threat from within "our own" civilian population.

Oddly, I largely agree with Baloo. It’s positively weird to blame MI5 for this. I understand her kid’s dead so she’s probably not reacting rationally. But I think it’s deeply unhealthy to public discourse to have the irrational screaming of the bereaved become the headlines and the subject of media discussion.

Wasn't saying I agree with her btw, just that calling her a moron and a cunt is a bit much, given it seems clear she is still grieving and blaming.
The fact that MI5 have apologised for not preventing the attack gives her attitude some credence too.
But, I agree her outpourings should hardly make for headlines.

Oh, I'm very sorry for her loss, no two ways about that. A terrible thing to happen, but it was some time ago now, so I think she is being taken advantage of TBH. She is being a bit of a dick, either way. The authorities always apologise these days, whether they are in the wrong or not. That, I feel, is part of the problem. Failing to offer an apology, when a signal of regret or commiserations is actually what is appropriate, is seen as a massive aggression. There's something very wrong with that. |

The Manchester Arena Bombing is coming up for six years ago now. Not 60 or 600 - six. What price your "within living memory" tenet that you apparently hold re: Europe, Germany, war crimes etc., and that you have espoused in other threads on these boards?

I agree to an extent, although not offering an apology seems more defensive than aggresive, but whatevs.. The criticism of MI5 looks pretty weak on this one. There seems to be a pattern emerging. Whenever ethnic types do a wrong thing, the blame gets shifted to "the authorities". Whether it's blowing up kids, rushing a venue without tickets, drowning themselves in the Med etc.
