It's facinating to see the virtue-signalling crowding out the actual statements. Like fake news.

Its that pervasive idea among certain blokes that if only we can fix women to be a certain way they wont get raped and murdered Nah. That is precisely what I am not saying.

Ha ha ha!. It's virtue signalling to ask what a slightly pouty photo has to do with a man's choice to assault and murder a young woman.
Jesus wept.

Its that pervasive idea among certain blokes that if only we can fix women to be a certain way they wont get raped and murdered Yep. I mean God forbid we stop seeing male sexual entitlement as just the normal default - nope, ladies, what are you doing to encourage this?! And what's weirder is Bearman has no idea if the killer ever saw this photo, but somehow it's relevant. For all we know she was wearing a hoodie and jogging bottoms, waiting to be collected or walking along a well lit path on her way home but nope - she took a slightly pouty photo so obviously she made a victim of herself...

The belief that female modesty is required to control men behaviour. The belief that men are savage animals who are "provoked" into assault by a woman's photograph "pose", or attire. It's an odd double standard that when brown men ponder the connection between sexual assault and women's attire they are considered misogynist. When white men do it it is "valid comment". Very odd indeed that men control the way women dress, to protect women from men. It's very odd that this seems to be a pervasive attitude across all cultures.

It's not a duckface. But even if it was - so what. It's a duckface alright. Not an extreme one, but it's a duckface, birdbrain. You clearly don't know what a duckface is.

Nope. But that's by the by, it's still batty to blame her photo pose for her attack.

That wasn't his point. You're all flailing around looking for something to attack.
The point (as I see it) is that young females are increasingly presenting themselves as sex objects; increasingly because we now have the internet as a vehicle for sexual self-promotion.
But... Youngsters have always done this, only not on such a global scale. When I was young, for example, kids used to hang out on street corners - altogether much safer, believe it or not. Now we have every pervert and his brother being titillated by intimate insight into young kids' lives. Sad fact - weirdos exist; get used to it.

It'll be interesting to see what comes out of the murder trial. They have the suspect in custody.

‘He [the arrested man] had been living in Lucy’s house. He’d told them he had been kicked out by his mum. ‘Her mum had got him a job as a carer and he also did tattooing in a room he has set up in their house.’ So, already right in there with the family. Horrible. But you have wonder about parents who allow this type of bod in their house. link

Although one, of course, remembers the numerous attempts by the left to blame the rapes of young girls in the LNSs o anyone but the men who did them.

I think you mean that we remember numerous attempts by the right to blame the rapes in grim northern slums not on the men who committed them, but on some kind of inherited racial and cultural characteristics. Absolving the perpetrators of the blame and telling us that - again - they couldn't really help themselves and did it because of their background.
For the right, it's all about men not being responsible for their individual personal actions

When the counterpoint is “pose for a photo with a slight pout - get raped” then I see no need acknowledge it.
