Point, although he was referencing the Right's keenness to overrule the democratic mandate in other countries, especially pointing up that Bolsonaro, like Trump, views any result that goes against him as ipso facto proof of electoral fraud etc. Also, not only is Peru a separate country, but the problem there is of known corruption as highlighted by their legal system, whereas Bolsonaro, corrupt though he may be, was turfed out by a popular vote.

The difference with what is happening in Peru is the president was being impeached by congress, he attempted to stop this by dissolving congress and proclaiming himself sole ruler, his deputy said bollox and congress said bollox, the courts backed em as did the army and the impeached president was removed from power legally under the constitution and his deputy installed legally.

If you see this as a lefty version of what Jair Trump and that German prince tried, then you're just deluding yourself.
