I accept the Brexit result, the following being my observations: -

a) The Brexit vote was indeed won on the back of demonstrable lies, deceit and out-and-out racism.
b) There is nothing in the UK constitution, written or otherwise, that says that anything legal is off-limits for a future campaign e.g. to return to the EU fold.

Yes, I can "suck up" the result, but it is for those who voted Brexit to actually own it - a somewhat inconvenient truth that we'll keep front and centre for as long as it takes.

Its telling the extreme far right are still playing down violent insurrections against democratically elected gov's, as being a couple of people shouting a bit. Still, its not new the right only favour democracy when the results go their way, when they loose its either rigged or time for a different system.

Looks like Lulu is getting things under control and the military, that Jair was calling on to support his coup attempt, have stayed out of it, hopefully this will remain the case.

I'd be surprised if 1,500 arrests by internal security forces is proportionate. Still, it's all part of the corrupt left's playbook. Where are Brazil's gulag? The Pantanal?

I'm sure Brazil has that kind of stuff left over the Jair's term, and also from the right-wing dictatorships of the 70s that these protestors seem to want a return to.

By the size of the mob, 1500 arrests are a drop in the ocean, plus some of the arrests have been at the Jair terrorist training camps and blockades, so not just the mob that tried to overthrow the congress and the judicial system.
