Back in 1998 in London I collapsed in the street and broke Mrs Ootlg's leg. Rushed off to Whittington, they cleared me but kept her in. But later they said I 'may have had' a minor stroke (I wasn't pissed or anything) and put it down eventually to 'calcification' or summat. I still get a numb left arm occasionally. Yeah, it's that sort of thing, although there's a small dark shadow on my brain. It's where I keep my thoughts about the EU and socialism. It's an old scar from a skiing mishap, we think.

Very dutiful of Mrs. OOTLG to break your fall. You've got her well trained and it's quite a feat of athleticism for her to have covered the three paces in time to get under you as you fell.

I. am. not. fat. OK? Going back to other females, before I signed off FB I too was contacted by a couple of females I once knew who were once quite tasty. Preferred the memories to be honest.

I was only suggesting that Mrs. OOTLG should have been in the correct station, three paces behind, eyes down, not looking at shops.

Once you have one TIA you will probably have more, worth looking at a STATIN and changing some things such as diet and exercise.
Just downloaded Mars season 1 and 2 to see if its any good. If you want a good laugh, check out 'Norsemen', its a Norwegian TV series, very well done and very funny

Norsemen is great. I think I've recommended it before.

I happened on my birthday, which I had spent filling a skip with rubble in July. We tried Norsemen but couldn't get into it.

were they sure it was a TIA though, there are quite a few things than can cause a syncope event, I wonder if they did a differential diagnosis based on the numbness, probably. Still worth diet and exercise as that is the best preventative medicine there is is for a whole range of stuff us middle aged going to seed slightly fatty types are at risk from.

TV stuff I've watched this year that's actually good, rather than just comfortable soft opiate for the brain:
Killing Eve The End Of The f**k**g World Succession The Marvellous Mrs Maisel Better Call Saul (still)
There's probably more than this, but I can't remember it right now.

Yeah, that's what they wrote down at the end of all the tests (which were extensive.)

Just watched Dark River, set in my most favorite part of the world, excellent film, grim as feck, made by the same director who made The Selfish Giant a few years ago, so no surprise it's a rural version of the same bleakness

Hill House was pretty good. In a similar vein, Hereditary is also good.

Quite. I had you down as more Tintin than Tin Star.

The kickoff episode of Season 2 of The Orville. It's not so good without Keith.

Manhunt has been pretty good. It's about finding and investigating Levi Bellfield for murdering Milly Dowler, among others. Martin clunes is very good as the cop who led the case. It's pretty slow-paced but compelling.
