Not great, but not surprising.

Trump wouldn't have done that. Honest Don would have punched Bin Salman in the face.

Trump famously posed holding the sultans balls, and very pleased he looked while doing it

More right wing terrorists found guilty of being traitorous scum. www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-63802649The leader of a far-right militia has been found guilty of plotting to stop US President Joe Biden from taking office after the 2020 election. A jury found Oath Keepers founder Stewart Rhodes guilty of the rare charge of seditious conspiracy following a two-month trial. He plotted an armed rebellion to stop the transfer of power from Donald Trump to Mr Biden, prosecutors said. Good, do they still hang traitors?

While nothing will come from this, its never the less affirming someone took his treason seriously. Capitol riot panel recommends charges against Trump Here's what the four recommended charges against Donald Trump entail and why the committee has chosen them. Obstruction of an official proceeding: This statute makes it a crime to "corruptly" obstruct, influence, or impede, any official proceeding, or to attempt to do so. The committee recommended this charge as they say Trump deliberately attempted to stop Congress from certifying the 2020 election results. Conspiracy to defraud the United States: This crime entails "two or more persons conspiring either to commit any offence against the United States, or to defraud the United States, or any agency thereof". The committee believes Trump worked with others to impede the function of the US government and mislead the public about the results. Conspiracy to make a false statement: This statue makes it a crime for a government official to cover up a scheme, make materially false statements, or issue false statements or documents with the knowledge the information isn’t true. The committee claims Trump and his backers’ planned to submit a slate of false electors in key swing states who would have handed him the presidency in defiance of election results. Insurrection: This crime relates to inciting, assisting, or engaging "in any rebellion or insurrection against the authority of the United States." The committee argues that Trump encouraged his supporters to come to Washington and cause havoc, and as the attack was going on, failed to take appropriate action to end the violence. www.bbc.com/news/live/world-us-canada-63994477

Excellent BBC bias last night with a report from Washington on the Proud Boys trial.
Plett-Usher heavily linking Trump with the Proud Boys, then showing the Jan 6 Trump speech where he said ‘I know that everyone here will soon be marching over to the Capitol building’ – and the clip was cut there.
Obviously to exclude the following – ‘ to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard’

... ‘to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard’.
How'd that go, d'you think? A true leader should be able to lead his own supporters before entertaining any notion of leading a country. So that's a resounding FAIL right there (on both counts too).

Oh he's supporting them, just from a long way in the back.
Though UJ conveniently forgets they referred to themselves as Trumps army and coordinated with members of his Coup team to launch the insurrection. It's the core of their defense that they were acting on Trumps orders on behalf of Trump.

January 6th insurrectionist Taylor James Johnatakis, who was convicted in November on charges of obstruction of an official proceeding, civil disorder, and assaulting, resisting, or impeding police officers, has been sentenced to 7 years in prison. Johnatakis can be seen prominently in January 6th footage, organizing the crowd to push back against the police line, coordinating violent attacks, and at one point shouting, “it’s over,” into a megaphone at the crowd. “Michael Pence has voted against the president. We are down to the nuclear option.” www.nbcnews.com/politics/justice-department/sovereign-citizen-jan-6-rioter-gets-seven-years-leading-mob-assault-of-rcna146215

Johnatakis "represented himself at trial using arguments a federal judge described as "bulls---" and "gobbledygook".
But course he did. I'll bet he taught that judge a thing or two about the law! He's a Trump supporter, i.e. he's delusional.
